"I stayed at the New London Inn for two nights while my daughter was on a college visit. I had a wonderful visit at the Inn. The service was fantastic. I had a very late check in planned for after the staff was gone for the evening (11:30 pm). General manager happened to have stayed late and saw me in the parking lot. He carried my luggage up to the third floor for me. Every staff member I met was very friendly and helpful. The front desk has an assortment of cookies, water and sodas at no charge and in the morning, there is a small selection of pastries. I booked a third floor room with a queen bed and sofa. The room was adorable with plenty of room. The bed was very comfortable. The rooms don't have refrigerators, but the glass stoppered bottle filled with water was a nice touch. The Elms restaurant was excellent and has a great atmosphere. If I am ever in the area again, I would definitely stay at the New London Inn."

"This is a great stop over motel. Bed was comfortable and I didn't hear any noises from other quests rooms. Not a crowded place in the summer. I went in July and the air conditioner was excellent, easy to adjust. I like white noise when I sleep and the air conditioner does make a hum and a few clicks now and then but not in the least disturbing. No clanging or rattling. Pillows comfortable. The only thing I thought a bit lacking was a table. I used the ironing board as a dining table which worked out well since I was by my self."
