Gorman Lake & Trail Recreation Site Tours and Activities

The room was so much nicer than I expected! Wish we were staying longer. All rooms on one side of the hotel look out onto the hot tub which is a bit weird when you are in it and people are looking down on you. The bed was fantastic. The room was large and had a fireplace. Easy walk to Beamer's coffee shop and other shops. It was a great stay.

overall a good hotel at a very good location. Good value for money. The hotel can get 10/10 score if they work on the improvements listed below. What's good about the hotel - Walking distance to most of the restaurants and shops. - Good view from the room. Rooms are spacious enough - Comfortable beds and pillows - Good shower (water temperature/pressure) Needs improvement - Cleanliness in the room. Found few hair on the bed and a sock. They quickly cleaned up after I informed the front desk - The restaurant in the lobby may not be open everyday making it difficult to plan - The breakfast discount was not much. Breakfast was expensive in the next hotel and was not a great value for the money - The hotel doesn't have laundry option - No extra bedding was provided

The parkade was filthy, and then they were trying to clean it and had blocked off a number of parking spots but didn't do any cleaning so they were blocked off for now reason. A number of us just moved the pylons so we could park. The way to the pool was very awkward through the dirty parkade. Didn't work well for the families we saw making their way there. The hallways were very hot, and the carpet was very tired. The room was fine but getting worn. Fireplace was only electric, that was disappointing and it didn't work well and made a strange noise. We probably wouldn't stay there again.
