Gîte La Glycine: Peace and Nature for Families and Animal Lovers.

  • Gite la Glycine: This house is located below Prades, a pretty little medieval village in the centre of the Gorges du Tarn, in one of the few really quiet places in the Gorges du Tarn in high season. Under the cottage you will have at your disposal two huge meadows bordered by the river (an old campsite now closed). A true haven of peace, the place is perfect for nature lovers, children with overflowing energy and pet owners. House of 60m², on two levels, parking at the foot of the cottage. The accommodation is independent and has a small terrace in front of the door. The renovation of the cottage was carried out in 2024.<br>Ground floor: <br>- A large living room with living room, kitchen and a toilet.<br>1st floor: <br>- Master bedroom (15m²) a bed 160x200 (adaptable into 2 beds of 80x200) with a view of the river and the garden.<br>- Secondary bedroom (10m²) with a 160x200 bed with dressing room<br>- Bathroom with bath, sink and toilet

Quiet resort in the nature

Wonderfully situated in a quiet corner of the village with a great view and surrounded by nature. The flat was very clean with a modern interior and renovated with a love to details. Very well done! Thanks to Damien who was very kind. We had lovely time.

Paradise in Prades

Perfectly located in Gorges du Tarn. Beautifully appointed house. Damien is a great host and a really interesting guy who was most helpful suggesting places to see.

Ein wunderschön renoviertes typisches Haus in den Cevennen, mit einem sehr hübschen Sitzplatz draußen vor der Haustür unter einer hängenden Glyzinie. Es duftet nach Feigen, auf dem Gelände gibt es einen Kirschbaum. Die Bademöglichkeiten in der Tarn waren zwar gut zu Fuß erreichbar, aber auch sehr von anderen Touristen und deren Hunden belagert. Sonst alles super schön.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans ce gîte. C’est un véritable cocon, décoré avec beaucoup de goût et d’une propreté irréprochable. Le cadre est très reposant : des oiseaux qui gazouillent, des bourdons qui butinent, des papillons qui tourbillonnent et la proximité du Tarn… bref, un vrai petit coin de paradis où il fait bon se ressourcer.Un grand merci à Damien pour son accueil chaleureux, sa gentillesse et son authenticité. On sent que ce lieu est une véritable histoire de famille.Pour nous, c’était le lieu parfait.Nous repartons avec de très beaux souvenirs et recommandons ce gîte sans hésitation.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le gîte La Glycine à Prades. L’accueil a été agréable, le propriétaire est très sympathique et toujours disponible en cas de besoin. La localisation est idéale, au calme, ce qui permet de se reposer pleinement. Le logement correspond parfaitement à la description et offre un bon rapport qualité/prix. Nous recommandons vivement !

Excellent séjour pour découvrir les Causses et le Tarn

Nous avons passé deux semaines merveilleuses dans un très beau gîte bien agencé, au calme et pourtant situé au coeur des gorges du Tarn. Découverte des richesses du causse Méjean et du causse noir, baignades et kayak dans le Tarn, gastronomie,... on n'a pas eu le temps de s'ennuyer. Un grand merci à Damien pour son accueil, sa gentillesse et sa sérénité.

Cadre charmant et central

Notre séjour a été éblouissant. Le gîte est situé au centre des différents territoires des Cévennes, tous magnifiques et au bord du Tarnon avec sa faune spécifique. Il est tout cosy et confortable et bien équipé. Damien est vraiment sympa. Nous gardons précieusement cette adresse pour y retourner.

Pure Ruhe und Erholung

Inmitten der wunderbaren Gorges du Tarn ist dieser Platz ein wahrer Schatz um die Natur in allen Facetten zu genießen. Das Haus hat alles für einen entspannten Aufenthalt drinnen und draußen, Gastgeber Damian bringt die Historie sehr anschaulich nahe und ist in allen Belangen mehr als hilfreich!

Alles Perfekt und einfach idyllisch!

Diese Unterkunft hat alles. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, super gepflegt, einfach zum Wohlfühlen. Alles ist so gut durchdacht, besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Lampen am Bett, zum Lesen super geeignet und geben auch sehr gemütliches Licht. Man kann auf der Terrasse sitzen und die Natur genießen, direkt im Vorgarten, mit Blick auf die Tarn, hatten wir Besuch von einem Kolibrifalter und einer Smaragdeidechse, einfach nur schön! Ein paar 100m weiter gibt es eine sehr schöne Badestelle (die Tarn hat viele Steine, Badeschuhe sind vielleicht hilfreich), wir haben alles genossen! Die Gastgeber lassen einen spüren das man Willkommen ist und das man die Zeit genießen kann. Vielen vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!!
