Great place to stay in this area and the hosts do a wonderful job of taking care of their customers and the home. Had everything you needed and felt comfortable there and knew you could reach out to hosts if needed, but I didn’t really need to!

Perfect stay!

My husband and I came for a weekend getaway and this cabin was just what we needed. The hosts do an incredible job with the space and have such cute little touches and details. The hot tub was great and the location was wonderful. We had such a great time! Enjoyed some wineries and trails! Can’t wait to come back again!

Relaxing Anniversary Retreat

We couldn’t have asked for better! This was perfect for my husband and I and our dog. Very cute, clean, the hot tub was a plus. It had everything we needed. I will definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a stay in this area.

Great cabin tucked away in nature!

This is the perfect little cabin tucked away in the hills near the lake. It’s perfectly private with easy access to lots of nearby activities including Ferne Cliffe State Park and the wine trails. The space and amenities were perfect, they truly thought of everything. The hosts were quick in response and so lovely. We cannot recommend this rental enough!

Cozy Get-Away

My wife and I had the pleasure of spending one night away from the kids in this charming little cabin. We loved everything about it. I wish the weather had been warmer so we could have enjoyed a little fire by the creek. The hosts are very friendly and responsive. They’ve done a great job creating a lovely cabin. I hope we can stay again the future.

Perfect Get Away ❤️

My husband and I brought our 2 dogs to just disconnect and relax for a couple of days. The cabin is in a quiet lake neighborhood and not super close to any neighbors, very private. Cabin was super clean and had everything you’d need for a weekend- Keurig coffee maker, pots, pans, air fryer, hot plate. We even saw a deer in the woods next to the cabin on our last morning! Wonderful trip 10/10 would recommend

Perfect cozy cabin for our weekend getaway!

Our family of four (myself, husband, 5yo son, 7o son) had a fantastic stay at this tiny, cozy cabin! It was exactly as pictured—charming, well-maintained, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cabin was spotless, well-kept, and perfectly nestled in the woods, providing the peaceful retreat we were looking for.Communication with the owners was also excellent—they were responsive, helpful, and made the whole process seamless. The location was ideal, with great hiking trails just a short distance away. The kids also loved the hot-tub! If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing escape in nature, this is the place to be.We loved our stay and will definitely rent from them again! Highly recommend!

Great little cabin!

This little cabin is tucked into a hillside and is very cute. It was extremely clean and had all the amenities of home, down to the salt and pepper. This was a test run mostly for our dog and worked out well. We did not use the hot tub, so I cannot comment on that, but I'm sure it would have been amazing. It is in a residential area very near Lake Egypt and the road was busy at times, but all the people in the area seemed very friendly and waved as they drove by. So fun! The cabin is close to Goreville and Ferne Clyffe State Park, which has great trails. It's a perfect little getaway.

Delightfully charming cabin

This was a great simple stay for a long weekend get away for us. The space was perfect place to rest, relax, and renew from the long Illinois winter. Easy communication with owner, easy access, and straightforward but charming tiny cabin. We were reguvinated after hiking at Ferne Cliff and Giant City State parks, enjoying local carryout BBQ and Pizza, and lounging in the cute cabin. The rockers on front deck were a perfect place to enjoy listening to the outdoors. It is a tiny cabin nestled at the bottom of hill surrounded by many trees. It was a great find for us and we would recommend it!!

Solo Getaway

I liked staying in this cabin. It was suoer cute and had lots of amenities provided by the host. It had a lot of personal touches. I was happy when I saw there was a fire put. It was a really nice little cabin. My only hangup was that it was so close to other homes, and there was a lot more traffic than you'd expect in a country neighborhood which was really noisy and took away from the ambience of it all.

Southern IL ‘s best kept secret

This adorable tiny cabin is tucked into a forest setting. Yes, there are other homes around you but we didn’t even notice that!! Perfect spot centered in the middle of Shawnee National Forest. Equal distance to all of our hiking / exploration areas. Simple and sweet inside! Lots of thoughtful amenities. Filter water pitcher, welcome sign, and outside lights left on for our late arrival are just a few of those things. The side deck with rocking chairs was a huge plus! Loved the pictures on that wall that they used to introduce themselves and shared information about the area. Super yummy food suggestions! Fern Clyffe State park was a recommendation from our hosts, we are soo glad we checked it out! We definitely recommend this tiny cabin!!! It was a perfect place to call home for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Communication with hosts was effortless and they were very responsive to our messages. It was like texting with friends! Don’t miss out on this place! We look forward to coming back! We definitely wouldn’t stay anywhere else!
