  • The Lancaster County Amish Farm Stay is situated on a scenic farm property in central Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. This Amish Farm Stay is less than a mile from the village of Intercourse (Kitchen Kettle Village), 12 min. from Sight & Sound Theater, and within a short drive of countless attractions which make Lancaster County such a popular destination. The host family offers guests staying 2 or more nights a short tour of their working dairy farm (weather & schedule permitting).

    The guesthouse has four bedrooms, a full kitchen and two bathrooms (one is in the semi-basement). There’s a full bath & bedroom on the ground floor. Supplies for a simple self-serve continental breakfast are provided (coffee, tea, bagels & yoghurt), and guests may prepare meals in the guesthouse kitchen with food that they bring or purchase nearby. This is a rare opportunity to stay at an Old Order Amish farm in Lancaster PA. The Lancaster County Amish Farm Stay offers an authentic taste of Amish life that most Lancaster County tourists never get to experience.

Depending on your phone carrier & plan, you shouldn't have any problem getting cell phone service & internet on your phone. What a tremendous experience. Sylvan was the most welcoming host and the accommodations were top notch. From the cleanliness, to the welcoming nature of our hosts, to the tour of the farm we got for our two young girls, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay from the time we arrived until the time we left. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area!

The family was wonderful and was prompt in addressing all our needs. It was beautiful staying right on the farm property and enjoying the animals. House was lovely and close to where we were touring. I would strongly recommend it and will stay there again
