The annexe was exceptionally clean, bed was very comfortable, also a great range of breakfast options which we were not expected so a lovely bonus to the stay. "Room and rest of hotel clean to good standard. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was average although selection was not up to the standard of previous stays at the hotel."

"Confusion over booking could have been handled better. Little empathy over my room issue before I had even turned up. On arrival given a scorching room, when rang reception told it is working and takes 20 minutes minimum. An hour later changed rooms as A/C not working! Warmest day of the year and hotel gets jet washed so noisy generator meant you couldn't get any peace on balcony. Also no no-smoking area so balcony reeled whilst paying over £7 a pint, didnt take cash, £15 parking."

"This is one trip my wife is not going to let me forget in a hurry. On entering the room there was a very unwelcome smell which wasnt filling me with much confidence. My wife entered the bathroom to then ask me were is the shower aw oh surely theres a shower no only a bath. There was rust build up on the frame holding the mirror up in the bathroom not doing any good for my wife`s blood pressure. One look at the carpet and and there was a 2 inch gap between the edge of the carpet and skirting board all round room. To calm my wife down i suggested a cup of tea only to have to tell her sorry love there is hand wash gel sat in the bottom of the kettle and mould " could this get any worse ". I said to my wife i did book a seaview room hoping to gain some browney points to which the reply was " great if the windows were clean i could see the sea". Off we went out to enjoy our night and forget about were we would lay our heads later on our return to hotel we popped into bar for a drink only to be told £10 minimum spend when paying with card. Quick drink was had and off up to our room to sleep once in bed and lights off we notice light coming into room through a 2 inch gap between door and door frame. Please think twice before booking this place. Its safe to say our next break away will be booked by wife as i think she will have more confidence in our 9 year old before her Husband."

"Cleanliness excellent. Spa and pool excellent. Restaurant menu has changed and for me was disappointing. Lots of steak choices. No salads rice or pasta dishes which I expect were on the bar menu. Unfortunately the bar has a TV on 24/7 so not an ideal alternative to the restaurant unless you can eat outside. Overall a lovely stay. For me the restaurant was the only disappointment..but that's a personal view from someone who has stayed for the past 6 years"
