"Check-in was confusing and daunting. When I arrived in early evening, the front door was locked and the desk area was completely dark. Eventually, we went around back to look for humans, and some guests were playing ping pong and said the lady had been seen around earlier. The back door was open, though this added a flight of stairs to haul luggage up. Once inside, the dark desk had an un-labeled envelope on it and some signage in german indicating some numbers to call for help. One rang the desk phone and the other could be heard ringing on the other side of a locked door behind the desk. After lots of ringing, someone eventually showed up and said the envelope on the desk had my key. I got in and everything was fine, but this confusing experience added stress to an already long day. The hotel itself was nice. The room was great. Quiet, spacious, and very comfortable. The mini-split air conditioning was a real treat after a week of extremely hot temperatures in Spain and France."

"The room was tiny but clean and had nice amenities. Staff was friendly and the location near the walking area was good. The hotel has a garage with paid parking which was convenient. The downsides were no elevators and the items that were supposed to be hot on the breakfast bar were cold."

"I feel like there should be more fans for air circulation throughout the property, more emphasis on completing the check-in process immediately following the booking process & a list of all the documents & information needed for check-in. Also one of the doors to the balcony had issues with opening the way it should. Other than that everything else was fine."
