"We were very pleased with our newly renovated room. It was well done, comfortable and quiet. In spite of the hotel being located near truck stops, we heard no truck noise and slept well. There were no restaurants other than fast food in the area but since we were traveling into nearby towns for a wedding that was not a problem for us."

"Incredible stay! You will likely need 4WD or AWD to get up to the cabin -- the road is no joke! But the views are incredible and the cabin is cozy and wonderful. Highly recommend as long as you can get there!"

"A nice, quiet get away with a clear view of Mt Hood out the kitchen window. We made the necessary reservation and visited the Goldendale Observatory 25 minutes away for a top notch astronomy presentation and then the evening sky viewing. Sometime we'll make reservations for the sun observations during the day. The last time we stayed here there were flocks of wild turkeys; this time we saw several deer including a nice buck in the velvet. It wasn't just the people, our dog really enjoyed the place!"

"An absolute gem! Even better than the photos.We had an unforgettable week at this incredible home in Goldendale! Like many other guests have mentioned, the photos truly don’t do it justice. From the moment we arrived, we were positively surprised—you can feel the love and care put into every single detail. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything we could possibly need, including a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and wonderful living spaces.If you have kids, this place is total paradise. Our children were entertained all week long. They absolutely loved the custom-built sheriff’s playhouse (complete with dress-up clothes), the giant handmade wooden Yahtzee game, the playground, and the fun 3-hole putting green to practice golf. And, of course, the pool was fantastic!The natural surroundings are breathtaking. Every morning and evening, we were treated to deer strolling peacefully through the yard and wild turkeys wandering by. The views of Mt. Hood are stunning, and the night sky is unreal—which you can even watch while soaking in the hot tub.We would love to come back in a heartbeat and can’t recommend this home highly enough to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"Plenty of space for 3 adults and 3 kids (3, 5, & 7). The sun porch is fabulous and we enjoyed lounging there with the view and the sun, and a few deer running through the meadow. We were in town for a weekend to visit family and felt right at home in this low key home. It would be great if the description had let us know the coffee maker could use k pods and ground coffee but it was super handy that it included the reusable pods. If you’re picky about your bed pillows, bring your own. There were many firm pillows (thick and thin) but none were soft and fluffable. I forgot to pack mine so I’m glad it was only 2 nights. Overall, this was a comfy stay and I’d definitely come back!"

"Wow sums this up. What a fun property so many activities at the house - huge Frisbee golf course, ping pong, indoor hoop game, arcade, plenty of board games and several others. We had three parties staying at the home and everyone really loved the experience. Not to mention very clean, fragrance free environment, well stocked kitchen, plenty of indoor and outdoor cups and plates. The hosts were quick to respond to questions day before and day of arrival. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality and excellent property!"
