The room was very stuffy!! No rubbish bags for the bins, stains on the bed and our neighbours had a party and we couldn’t sleep until 2am. However, location is very convenient.

Tv doesn’t work, even play something on YouTube, cast or watch tv. The cleaners are very friendly and nice people, but I think there isn’t enough of them to clean all the rooms during the right time frame

Staff were great, room was immaculate. We had a room on level five that faced the nightclubs and it was exceptionally noisy and took us a long time to get to sleep. We also had to wait 20 minutes to try and get a lift to get down to the car park and were late for an appointment.

Towels all smelt like cigarette smoke. Air con in the room roared all night so sleep was limited. Both rooms had broken curtains. One room had sand in the beds. No Foxtel just free-to-air in both rooms which was disappointing for such a high-class hotel. Otherwise, it was fine. Bed was very soft, shower was lovely.

Gym is a dungeon with most basic of facilities and no aircon/temp controls. The rooms have a musty, typical hotel smell, even the food has that smell. The staff is good, and helps where possible. Room staff is good, when they do turn up. Location in good, which is probably why the room rates are so high. Rooms are spacious. Aircon controls don’t work. Overall, 2.5/5.

I booked my trip via last minute however the dates defaulted to the next month. I contacted the third party (last minute) straight away, the advise was I would be advised in 72 hrs and the Hilton were not answering the phone. Issue was we had booked to stay there the night of booking (in 4 hrs to be precise). Then I contacted the Hilton who advised the phone lines were manned I recontacted the third party again who the contacted the Hilton - advised i would be charged penalty of $222 payment completed again online. We arrived at Hilton, car park 45 mins to get park, and we had no booking. After an hour waiting at the service reception desk 5pm and waited for an hr with 6 people (very frail 86yr old stroke woman, two teenagers, 4 and 5 year olds). I was charged $200 fee straight away. Then the manager came out and said you have no booking and the wrong fee was charged on my card and then charged another $495 onto my card with out my knowledge. Still no booking. There was no apology, I was informed that the money of $200 would go back into my account with in 4 business days. Put all blame on third party. This was an overnight stay. In the morning it took us 40 mins to get the lift down to reception from the 4th floor. All lifts were over crowded and no room. We had to go down to reception with all our luggage and frail mother via the stairs. At reception we explained to staff who did not empathise or seem to care. I was told I was a "trooper". 1 night over 1K

A wonderful stay here in Hilton Surfers Paradise
I had an amazing experience with Hilton Surfers paradise. I received a warm welcome from receptionist Alex. Everyone here goes extra miles to offer help. Effil in Conceige offered huge support during my stay and she even helped me with my luggage, making tea for me as I got my back injury. Everyone is so helpful making me feel that I am welcomed to be home with Hilton family. Thank you team especially thanks to Alex, Tham, Effil. Regards Giiny

1. Room wasn't equipped for the 6ppl we booked for. 2. It's cold and no blankets in room. 3. Ensuite stuff is empty 4. Next door are slamming and banging against main bedroom wall at all areas of the night where it sounds like the wall is going to drop away. 5. Room didn't have city view like we were told (not as big of a deal but would of had a potential glimpse of beach) 6, on check in the lady at service was so disinterested in speaking to us it was rude and looked down on us. Positives: 1. Concierge ladies were lovely. 2. Security gentleman today helpful, polite and located our sons lost snorkel. We have left. Had better stay at other places that aren't 5 stars (apparently) and half of the price with better amenities

The Hotel staff are fantastic, very central to a lot restaurant and with a nice 5 minute walk to the beach. I wasn’t to impressed with the our hotel room starting off with the view the windows were so dirty with fingerprints mark and clearly didn’t seem to be clean then there was with rips in the carpet, broken couch where dip to one side, main bedroom door won’t open/ close properly, kitchen cupboard broken. Hilton use to be one of favourite hotel but i find it the property condition have fallen over time and it’s due for upto date modern uplift.

Gold Coast- a trip to remember
Hilton has always been on top of our priority list when it comes to having a holiday. It was our first time to visit Gold Coast and we were not disappointed as it took our hearts aways. The trip will not be this comfortable it if wasn’t with Hilton. The service has always been great and the amenities are well maintained. Staff are very helpful the executive lounge was amazing. The view from the room was breathtaking.

I stayed here for one night. The friendly staff allowed me to check in early and check out late. Our flight was in the evening and they let us check out at 3pm for $50 an hour. That was convenient for us because we sat at the pool all afternoon and then could shower before we left for the airport.
