"The staff were very helpful, but there were mice running across the floor of the restaurant, the adjoining room doors had a big gap so it was very noisy, and there was black mold in the bathtub. It is an older building and I understand the difficulty in controlling these situations, but I probably wouldn’t stay again."

"The room was lobby was lovely, and the room was clean. We had pre-ordered champagne to the room for our evening arrival and it was not there. The front desk was dismissive when we went to ask about it and did not make it right. Overall the hotel location was on point, very accessible for walking the gardens and Citadel Hill. I would likely not stay again though as the initial arrival service was truly lacking, there are only some many getaways one gets and I’d prefer a hotel that is responsive."

"A little run down with some maintenance and a fresh coat of paint needed. Little details like business cards badly cut out from photocopied paper was indicative of the rest of the hotel and its need for a little care"
