Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights and return the keys

Please wash up dirty dishes. Either dry and put away or leave them on drying mat or dish rack.

Please place used pool towels into the green laundry basket. All other used towels into the washing machine leaving the door up. No need to start the machine.

Lastly pull together all trash from bedrooms & bathrooms, the kitchen and dispose of into the large bin just off the back deck.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

This was a favorite spot for us. It’s a beautiful property with the most quaint farmhouse to stay in. The pool is absolutely gorgeous and was a dream to have in the Texas heat. It’s well shaded and beautifully set up. The hosts are the kindest, attentive and responsive we’ve ever experienced. We left there after a week feeling like they were family. I would recommend this for anyone looking to not be in the hustle and bustle of the busy surrounding cities. The sunsets are amazing to witness and taking a walk down the gravel drive and hearing all the different birds was such an experience. There are wild bunnies and a pair of cardinals that live right around the farmhouse and you will witness them throughout the day. We can’t wait to go back and visit Shawn and Bruce and farmhouse!

Quaint farmhouse getaway

We enjoyed our time here near Cleburne. The weather kept us from pool time everyday, but it is a beautiful setting with hot tub and waterfall. The farmhouse is surrounded by pretty landscaping. Plenty of thoughtful amenities make it feel warm and welcoming. It is an old house, which is part of the charm. The decor keeps it whimsical while having all the modern conveniences.

Wildrose Farmhouse was the perfect setting for our Board of Directors team building and strategic planning retreat! We enjoyed sitting on the porches and enjoying our coffee in the mornings, watching the wildlife (rabbits & hummingbirds), and getting to love on the dogs, especially Ruckus and Maggie Mae.The pool, hot tub, and Sonic ice maker were huge hits. Shawn set up an extra table and chairs in the dining room to make sure our group of eight could all eat meals together, moved furniture so we would have plenty of space, and even pulled out and made up the sofa bed before we arrived since we would need all beds.Finally, Shawn was fantastic at answering the probably three dozen questions I sent her leading up to our trip. It was a fantastic weekend, and I would definitely return to the farmhouse!
