"Immaculate public areas and reception. Staff were excellent, our ocean view room was even better than the photos suggested. The breakfast buffet was very comprehensive and varied. Having a beach literally on your doorstep was a lovely bonus. Already preparing a return visit!"

We think the electricity tripping off in for the heaters in the pump room might have been the explanation. We only discovered this on enacting leaving instructions. The pool man came and said it was fine. It was so cold the next day even the kids wouldn’t get in.•Hot tub only warm (not hot) for last three days (32 degrees – possibly we didn’t know how to make it work properly despite having some instructions)•Games area in garage has ‘chemical’ smell which stopped us using it•Visitors not allowed (sister plus family were staying in nearby villa). Any transgression could lead to eviction from the Villa. Should be highlighted on booking site.•Video surveillance inside and outside. Should be highlighted on booking site. We have young children and would not book a property with extensive surveillance.•Shower enclosures need replacement•No internet all week – not the owners faultThe house is fundamentally very nice and the owner went to great trouble to ensure it was well-prepared for our stay. It’s in a super location, close to lots of supermarkets and a shopping centre, and a short drive from the great beaches and restaurants of Playa Honda. The villa itself is spacious with big bathrooms and a very well-designed kitchen. "
