"I went to Corfu before the start of the tourist season. The place is perfect for recharging as it is quite removed from the busy town. The hotel has a pool, and the beach is also 2 minutes away. I recommend this place to people who want to be away from the centre and are self-sufficient. It has a very nice balcony, kitchen, and bathroom. "What a disappointment this hotel was. It is new this season and was clearly rushed. The design is terrible. All the rooms are described as ‘garden view.’ The reality is that they look onto a carpark. There’s a building site behind the hotel and a huge diesel generator facing the rooms. "We had a wonderful stay, the apartment was very clean and spacious. The hosts were amazing and very responsive. We loved the convenience of the pick up and drop off options and used it several times. The driver was courteous, on time and very helpful. The apartment is perfect for a stay close to the airport and you will find that it’s a very walkable neighborhood with a bakery just up the street and a square not to far away where we got amazing gyros. "We had a wonderful 10 days at Villa Alexia. The property suited us perfectly as 2 family groups and grandparents as we all had our own spaces but could come together to enjoy the pool, beach and outside areas. The setting of the villa is great, with lots of nearby amenities. The villa was very clean and the host was very responsive and helpful during our stay."
