Guest Access:

Guests have exclusive access to the entire home, the private dock, and the outdoor patio. Please note, there may be a couple of locked areas reserved for supplies and maintenance access. The dock may occasionally be used by the owners to access their boat.

Good Harbor Beach (10 min) offers wide sandy shores and surf-friendly waves, while Wingaersheek Beach (15 min) is known for calm waters and family-friendly fun. Just 5 minutes away, Stage Fort Park features Half Moon Beach (a sheltered, family favorite) and Cressy’s Beach (a rocky shoreline with great views), along with picnic areas and a splash pad. For adventure, explore the historic trails of Dogtown Commons, or head downtown (7 min) to enjoy fresh seafood, boutique shops, and Gloucester’s classic maritime charm.



Getting Around:

BY CAR

→ Conveniently located near Cape Ann’s best spots: Downtown Gloucester (7 min), Good Harbor Beach (10 min), Wingaersheek Beach (15 min), Rockport (15 min), and Manchester-by-the-Sea (20 min). Having a car makes it easy to explore the full range of beaches, parks, and charming coastal towns.



ON FOOT OR BIKE

→ Enjoy nearby walking and biking routes, including the Stage Fort Park promenade, Boulevard walk along Gloucester Harbor, and the historic trails of Dogtown Commons. Local roads are bike-friendly, with scenic rides out to Eastern Point Lighthouse or across the Annisquam River bridges.



BY TRAIN

→ The MBTA Commuter Rail (Gloucester Station, 8 min drive) connects directly to Boston’s North Station, making day trips into the city simple.



BY WATER

→ Seasonal water shuttles and harbor cruises offer a unique way to reach downtown, Rocky Neck, and other harborfront spots. Whale watches and fishing charters also depart from Gloucester’s working waterfront.

• Open Ceilings: The three upstairs bedrooms feature open ceilings—a hallmark of traditional New England cottages—designed to enhance airflow throughout the space. Please note that because of this design, sound does travel between rooms. White noise machines are provided in each bedroom for added comfort and privacy.

• Tides: The landscape of Little River transforms with the tides. Check the Hi Tide app to plan your activities.

• Amenities: Fully stocked kitchen, central air conditioning, Smart TV with Roku, outdoor grill, and more.

• Bring your bikes, kayaks, or paddleboards, or rent them locally for a full waterfront adventure.

• The boat is not included with the rental of the property; we kindly ask that you do not board the boat or sit on the bow.



Once a booking is confirmed, the following cancellation policy is immediately in effect. Due to automatic platform processing fees, full refunds cannot be issued for same-day cancellations. Cancellations made more than 30 days before check-in are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 30 days of the check-in date are non-refundable. No-shows are not eligible for any refund.
