Perfect House for visiting Cape Ann

The house was very near and perfect size for A group of 5. It had all the essentials we needed and great location. We were never more than a 20 minute drive wherever we went and Gloucester only 5-10 minutes away! The beds were also very comfortable and the area is quiet at night. Would highly recommend

Beautiful home

We came to see our first grand baby and needed a home close to our son's place to stay. We found the perfect place. The home is beautifully appointed and close to everything. We have stayed at numerous other vacation rentals and this was one of the best. The kitchen had everything you need. I cook alot and most rentals have the basics. This kitchen had everthing. The home was very clean and well taken care of. The owner comminicated quickly and follow up was on point. The large yard was well maintained and a perfect for eating outside. I highly recommend this home.

Refreshing adventure to beautiful Gloucester

This homes charm and cleanliness was top tier! Better than we could imagine,or photos online could capture. It was refreshing to walk into a fresh, spotless, and comfortable home. The Home has a perfect floor plan for a family, or two! The split floor plan with multiple TV rooms and large kitchen set up… with everything you could need to run a functional home. The view from the back porch was gorgeous and at night the sky was enchanting. The home is located centrally to everything! The water front views, close to downtown, and the beautiful Hammond castle. We had a wonderful experience! We will remember this house in Gloucester forever! Our favorite part of the inviting features of this home, are the guest book history behind it! A family generational experience available to the public. Take advantage of this experience! So glad we did. 10/10 I’d stay again! Thank you, Chris, for being a part of our family memories. Cherished, they are.

Lovely visit in a comfortable family home!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this lovely home that has been in the owner's family for multiple generations and only recently rented out. Our family members, ranging in age from 11 to 70, found the home to be clean, comfortable, and nicely updated. The kids claimed the sun room as their hang out space and the adults were happy relaxing in the main living room. The king size room and one bathroom are accessed through the bunk room, which was a perfect arrangement for the kids and their parents while the grandparents stayed in the queen size room with the private attached bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped and there were lots of nice little touches around the house like nightlights, laundry washer/dryer, and shampoo/shower gel in the bathrooms. The central air conditioning kept the home comfortable during some humid summer days. The home's location was in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood but super close to the seashore and convenient to all of our adventures from Rockport to Gloucester to Salem. Communication was amazing from Day 1, and the host was super accessible and responsive to our needs, even providing helpful hints and detailed tips about visiting the area. We would love to stay here again in the future!

A Hidden Gem

Tucked away in a quiet part of Gloucester, this property could not have been more perfect for us. My husband and I are both in our mid-70's, and we travel often to Cape Ann to visit with friends and family. This rental is our favorite so far.The kitchen is well-stocked with everything one might need. Other properties often lack one item or another, so this was a wonderful amenity. The dining area is ample and comfortable. The living area is very cozy with pillows and throws and has a great television. The bedrooms have ample space for luggage and clothing, and the beds are very comfortable. Again, this is not always the case in other rentals; I have had my share of terrible beds! We loved having the two bathrooms, probably the main reason why this property appealed to us. They were beautiful, spotless, tastefully done, as is the entire house. Being just the two of us, we did not use the extra family room. However, I can see it being an excellent bonus room for folks traveling with children. Finally, Chris, the owner, could not have been more accommodating. Since no one was staying there ahead of us, he allowed us to check in early at no extra charge. Most rentals will charge a fee for early entry. He also checked on us via text to make sure all was okay and that he was available if there were any issues. There were not!We are certain to return to this lovely rental next time we head to Cape Ann.

Our favorite place !

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and it's our favorite in Gloucester. This home was so comfortable, after 3 weeks we still didn't want to leave. There was so much to do in Gloucester ; whale watching, subs at Destino's, great Italian pastries at Virgilio's, fish and chips at the Causeway and picnics at Stage Fort Park, but we were always happy to walk the Boulevard and say hello to friendly locals and return to our home away from home that was absolutely sparkling clean and quiet. Honestly there was no way we would have been able to stay that long if we hadn't been so happy and comfortable. All the extra touches were much appreciated and we enjoyed reading the history of the house and family. We can't wait to go back!

Perfect spot

We had a group of 5 stay here while we went on a fishing trip and the place was perfect! It was nice to sit in some rockers and relax after a long day on the water. The house was well equipped for all of us and the check in/out process was seamless. Would definitely stay again!
