Proximity to the Mt Hutt ski area was key, but the best part was the attention and assistance provided numerous times for different reasons - nothing was too much trouble. The food from the restaurant was also superb - delicious, generous, and well presented. Staff was always smiling, pleasant, and ready to assist wherever possible - so helpful especially when travelling with children. Do yourself a favour and stay at the Methven Resort if you are in the area. We will definitely be back."
