"We had the most wonderful stay in Katie's Cottage. We met the lovely host Caroline on arrival and we couldn't have gotten a warmer welcome. There was fresh scones with jam and butter and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The house was absolutely immaculate with loads of fresh towels and bed linen. The beds were really comfy and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. The surrounding area is stunning and the cottage was a great base to explore all of this. Top Glenisland Hotel Reviews

The McWilliam Park Hotel Mayo

10/10 Excellent

"Great spot for an over nighter"

Westport Woods Hotel & Spa

8/10 Good

"We had a nice large room with a bathtub which was quite nice. Geo large beds as well. However the cold water faucet did not work in our bathroom. The bathroom door also did not close and latch. The door was pretty beaten up at the bottom as well. Just needs some maintenance. I wanted to use the pool but the blaring music in the gym was a turn off for me doing that. The breakfast was ok. They said here were hot food options to get made to order but no one who waited on us even offered or told us about it. Bar restaurant food was ok."

Woodside Lodge

8/10 Good

"Woodside Lodge was a good base for our long weekend in Westport. It was a ten minute walk to town to enjoy the lively bars and restaurants. Slighty longer, 25 mins to Westport Quay which is a lovely spot. Walked back via the Greenway footpath that brought us right by the Lodge. Accommodation was clean and spacious - just what we needed."

Great National Hotel Ballina

10/10 Excellent

"A very pleasant hotel. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The pool, sauna and steam room were a great bonus and actually worked really well. There weren’t many people using them, so it was nice and relaxing. Dinner was reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would happily come back."
