"This was our second stay and it’s a lovely property with wonderful staff that was both friendly and very accommodating…the food in the restaurant and sea deck bar is excellent. Our only complaint was a musty smell in one of the two rooms we rented that was quite overpowering and the lobby fireplace wasn’t working on a cooler day when the patio door was left open. We would definitely stay here again."

"Fantastic place. Would highly recommend staying here. Cosy, clean and all the facilities you need. So if want to cook Dave and Co. have put a lot of thought into making it a home from home. Everything you need is there. If cooking is not for you there's always the microwave! Or you could visit the island's Gealic Heritage centre. Great food. We walked to it.... superb walk taking in the flora and fauna. So peaceful. Good that there is good WiFi... Unfortunately we all seem to want to be connected nowadays. Streaming speed is excellent. Also nice touches like dishwasher tablets, tea and coffee sachets provided. The island is a dream if you want to get away from it all, wind down and relax. A reminder of a bygone era. If only we all go back to the simpler world.... LISMORE will definitely have an impact on you reminding you that we all need to connect with nature. Thanks to Dave and Co. Cannot fault it. Spot on and thank you. "

Beach House on Isle of Mull

"The Beach House is centrally located on the island and a great base to explore all the main sights. There is a modern (quite gentrified) cafe/farm shop 3mins drive away, and a small supermarket 5mins drive away in the nearest town. There is a small hotel about 5mins walk away which has a bar and restaurant. The beach is accessed over a small grass airfield (we never saw a plane in our 5 days there - so don’t worry about noise) 5mins walk awayThe house itself is modern, spacious and has lots of mod cons, from Japanese-style toilets to the more conventional satellite TV. Also notable was the good wifi, despite the rural location. There is a large kitchen with everything you’d need to cook at home, all equipment was modern. The dining area opens into the garden, where you’ll also find outside seating. There is a spacious living room upstairs with two large comfy sofas and tranquil views over the garden, and over to the water. The bedrooms are a good size, with comfortable and high quality beds & bedding. There are on paper 3 bathrooms, but better to say 1 WC, 1 en suite with a large jacuzzi bath and 1 bathroom with a shower. One shower room worked just fine for our small group. We had one wrinkle on day one and it was ironed out, in person, within an hour or so. Couldn’t fault the host’s desire for us to have a great stay. I’d highly recommend the Beach House. "
