This hotel has been run by the same family since the 1930s and their dedication to hospitality shines through. The food in the restaurant is extraordinary and is prepared with love. "The service was excellent. We had dinner at breakfast and the staff were brilliant. Particularly loved the ladies that looked after us at breakfast. The room was clean and very comfortable. The decor is a little tired in places but did not distract from a very pleasant one night stay. Definitely recommend."

"Need air conditioners! I do understand it is Ireland and it’s not usually this hot , but with climate changing, it was very uncomfortable in the room in at night. Windows were open street noise was very loud. Everything else was fantastic, but it was way too hot, and I’m from Florida where it is always hot."

"This is a great little spot. The hosts are absolutely wonderful and very generous. A few things id not before booking. The bathroom is quite small, so if you want to change privately, it might be difficult to do so. They also didn't have shampoo or conditioner, but once I asked for some, the hosts were very accommodating - perhaps giving me some from their own bathroom! Overall a wonderful stay and would recommend!!"
