"Our stay was perfect.Booking was easy, Chris’ instructions clear as day and communicating with him was quick and friendly, the house is situated beautifully, it was spotless clean, and while it may look a bit outdated it has everything one need and more (sharp knives for instance, something lacking in lots of rentals we have visited over the years). Oh yeah, it was also very reasonably priced.All in all, a must-go-to if one wants to visit Emmetten and its (beautiful) surroundings."

"You must meet your host for the key, however he does not speak much English so that was a challenge. Be sure to email and call a few days in advance of your arrival to ensure that you can get a hold of someone if you need to communicate in English. Having a washer was great, but clothes must air dry in the lower level. Plan to wash in the evening and hang dry overnight and you'll have guaranteed dried clothes. "We liked the location being outside of the fancier, pricier options. Host communicated great and was flexible on check in and out times. Decent amount of amenities. "

"This is a lovely chalet on a quiet hillside above the busy town of Grindelwald. The views from the house are stunning and we enjoyed the outdoor eating areas. Great kitchen with excellent equipment including fondue pots and raclette maker. Beds were comfortable. My only complaint is that the towels provided were flimsy and inadequate, 2 little towels per person. There should be a stack of extra towels provided along with some washcloths."

"Check in was easy, they worked with us on our late arrival. There are plenty of beds and showers, enough kitchen equipment to make meals. Picturesque setting, beautiful scenery. It was one of our favorite places! There are a few steps to get to and from location, so be mindful if walking is difficult for you. But it was an ideal spot for our big family."

"Ce chalet est décoré de façon impersonelle comme les logements qui sont 100% dédiés à la location. Cependant on s'y sent bien. La pièce à vivre est très lumineuse avec grande baie vitrée. La terrasse est sans vis à vis avec vue à 180 degré sur la vallée et les superbes montagnes ainsi vue sur un glacier. C'est très calme. Grindelwald est un village très touristique proposant une très large palette d'activités pour tous les âges. Nous avons fait beaucoup de randonnées en haute montagne avec vues...

"Die Bilder im Internet sind veraltet, denn ganz offensichtlich wurde die Wohnung modernisiert. Leider passen die zusammengewuerfelten und unmodernen Möbel gar nicht dazu. Die Küche ist in ihrer Einrichtung grenzwertig. Im Internet stand, dass es kein WLAN gibt, aber das gab es doch! Ansonsten war es schon OK, die Aussicht reißt es natürlich raus."
