"Travelling solo on a bicycle, this was a great place to arrive after a long day. The reception was very welcoming and efficient. The large pool looked very inviting but I arrived after 18.30 and it was closed for the outdoor dining guests to eat in peace. I was one of them later and the food and service was very good. I had a wonderful suite with sea view which was bigger than I needed but that was what was still available."

"We booked as the hotel has a pool but when we arrived we were told it was closed for maintenance. However the manager went out of his way to arrange for it and the sauna to be opened so we could use the facilities. The hotel has a roof top restaurant which served good quality food but it was full of people smoking. Our bathroom was in a dreadful state with black mold on the ceiling, rotting door frame and peeling and discoloured grout. The breakfast was superb and had an amazing choice of mezes....
