The Crown Inn

"The accommodation had been double booked but they still went above and beyond to find a resolution and we did in fact stay at this lovely property. Our room was immaculate, the bathroom was stunning with the most amazing bath and shower! The food at their restaurant was “to die for”. It just melted in the mouth and service was excellent. We really enjoyed the beer garden and chatting to some of the local people, who met us with warm welcoming smiles. Would definitely stay here again!!"

"Quirky place with wooden beams great to have kitchen area. Brilliant location although free parking misleading. You need to be up early to pay but free at night in carpark.Nice to have a decent cuppa and milk and biscuits provided very much appreciated. Comfy beds Many thanks would stay again can't comment on staff as self check-in but good instructions"

"We had a really great week at this absolutely beautiful cottage set in an amazing location in the valley close to beautiful walks, dams, cycle paths and beautiful driving experiences with very little traffic outside the summer holidays. The place is very comfortable, but the beds could be better.We absolutely love the sheep and birds in the area.The owner is very friendly and accommodating, and the welcome process was lovely. I would recommend some shower gel in the showers just for convenience, and some cleaning materials like sponges in the kitchen area but these are such minor points.The property was incredibly clean and spider/ insect free, which is really important to us as we have a phobia in the party :-)With no towels provided, it made packing a bit bulkier than it needed to be, but again again a very small point. As we visited in the middle of May, the fact that the grass hadn't been cut can be excused as it is the end of a rainy season, the same with the patio furniture not being out there.The owner kindly help me put it out, but we didn't really need the garden and we're very happy with the patio which was bathed in sunshine in the afternoon so made for a very relaxing afternoon and evening, especially if the weather is nice which it was for us.The kitchen is well appointed as is the lounge, and we didn't need anything else while we were there. We will definitely visit again and I would recommend this owner and their care and diligence to anyone as an example of how to host a holiday cottage.Thank you for letting us stay, and we hope to see you again and again in the coming years.By the way, we found one of your Tupperware in our packing, and we would love to know how we can compensate you or send it back. You have my contact details. Our deepest apologies."

"Property was well equipped. Tastefully decorated we didn’t have opportunity to use all the facilities but wished we had longer. We were all 80 plus ! We loved the kites and Elan valley and will recommend this accommodation to friends and family . Thank you. "

"Good place to stay, very clean. Ideal location, near town center. Very quiet, all had a good nights sleep. Great views from rear of property. We would stay again if we were cycling in the area again.The host is close at hand if required, (lives next door)."
