"Self-catering accommodation was clean, very tidy, nicely laid out and all of items that we were advised of were there to use. During day the windows gave plenty of natural lighting.The bathroom was a bit on the small side, internal house doors were a bit noisy closing, dishwasher was a bit old and small. Only a few minutes on foot to the Cathedral, Main Bridge, Spring/Christmas market, several grocery stores and the heart of downtown with shopping and restaurants almost at your doorstep. Yet, set back with a charming little side street, you are in a peaceful oasis. The property itself was very clean, well appointed and had lots of natural light. Rothenburg stay

"Perfect location inside the old city walls, next to the famous picture you see everywhere online. Staff were friendly, rooms were nice. Within walking distance of everything. They offered parking, but we'd already parked in a public lot, but it seemed convenient. Breakfast was good. Our shower wasn't the best. Had to hold the shower head, as there wasn't anywhere to hang it high enough to use it hands free. But it got the job done. Wish we'd stayed another night it was so pleasant."

"I'm sure there might be friendlier hotels in the world, but I don't see how. This was, by far, the friendliest staff I've ever encountered. Everyone was helpful and exceedingly polite. The rooms were great and comfortable. They had AC! Breakfast was fantastic. Communication was great. All reasons to give the hotel 5 stars. But then there's the location. Just steps away from central Rothenburg and less than a minute's walk the the market square. 5 stars ( but only because I can't give it more). "

"Loved: Beautiful view of the city. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast. Quiet, clean. Grocery stores nearby, immediate parking in the garage. Didn't like: difficult computer check in after long flight/disorienting. Nice staff member who was very helpful but helping multiple people at once. So, the check in took a long time. "
