"I had a wonderful stay at this spa hotel and would highly recommend it. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely attentive — they greeted me warmly and always listened carefully to what I requested, which made the whole experience feel very personal and relaxed. The spa facilities were excellent and perfect for unwinding. Breakfast and dinner were both fantastic, with a great variety and really high-quality food — everything was fresh, well presented, and delicious. One suggestion would be to label vegetarian food in green so it’s easier than reading all labels & not mixed near the meats. Chef was great & if something was suited would cook if requested but was never needed. Overall, it was a truly enjoyable and comfortable stay with outstanding service. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing break with great food and exceptional staff."

"Great 5 days stay at Villa Lys apartments. Good location with great spar shop 10 mins walk up road and great bar Billy’s next door. Lovely restaurants further on. Pool area lovely with plenty sun loungers. Great balcony with view of pool and surrounding areas. Kitchen good size. Not many utensils but we ate out for tea most nights so not an issue. No bottle opener or hair dryer in apartment but when I asked the owner they delivered both to me. Good location for rest of island with bus stop across from spar but we regularly used Bolt taxi service as there was 4 of us. The owner kindly booked us a taxi from airport and it was there waiting and a reasonable price so we booked the return also. Owner very knowledgable about the local area and the island and even offered to run us into Mellieha bay one night. Local food great. Would highly recommend Nora’s in Mellieha Bay. Would stay again if we come back to Malta. Thank you for a lovely stay "
