Creekside Cabin at Gettysburg

Welcome to Creekside Cabin: The cabin is approximately 100 years old, nestled on the “Manor of the Masque”. This land was deeded to William Penn in 1735, the cabin sits along Marsh Creek. The creek's origin is about 5 miles away and courses through Adams County and Frederick County, before eventually emptying into the Chesapeake Bay. The surrounding farmland/woodland was occupied during the Civil War and the farm at the end of the lane served as an active Civil War hospital. Soldiers are buried near the farm.

Now that we’ve presented you with a brief history, we would like to describe the benefits of staying with us. The picturesque view of Marsh Creek comes with an abundance of wildlife; turkey, deer, hawks, and owls.

We offer 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a kitchen, a large dining area attached to an open family room. You will fall in love with the old stone fireplace and the scenic view from the sunroom. Amenities included are fire pit, horseshoes and gas grill.

Along with your comfortable/scenic stay the cabin is situated within close proximity to center square Gettysburg. All notable Gettysburg attractions are within 10 minutes of the Creekside Cabin.

Incredible place to stay, relax and enjoy the Gettysburg area. Would recommend highly for anyone looking for an enjoyable experience and a place that feels like home. The cabin is very well set up, clean and in a good location to the battlefield and town. Its our favorite go to place to stay. The owners are the best, there is you need help or have a question, like visiting with the perfect friend or family but never intrusive. Everyone who has stayed there wants to go back!

Great location to bike

Cabin had everything we needed. It was a great location to start our bike rides to the battlefield and surrounding countryside. Tami and Greg were very accommodating which made our stay enjoyable.

Storybook Cabin

This historic cabin is in a wooded setting with deer a creek and bird songs. The amenities all worked to make a comfortable stay. Great access to museums, antiques, hiking, and scenic drives.

A battlefield retreat

Wonderful Spot

Rented the Creekside Cabin for an anniversary trip with my husband. Wonderful secluded location close to everything you like to see at the battlefields. Would definitely recommend!

What a beautiful place to have a friends weekend! Attended the Apple Festival and visited downtown Gettysburg- all very close to the cabin! The cabin is very clean and comfortable- we look forward to staying there again!

Charming, private tucked away slice of heaven

I’ve been to Gettysburg a few times but only for a day trip. I booked this cabin and I couldn’t be happier! Charming cabin with all of the essentials. The property was beautiful and very close to all of the military parks. The owners were beyond helpful the entire process. I loved the fire pit out front and with the late summer nights starting to cool off some now the fire pit was a must! The river views were awesome and the amount of wildlife that I saw every morning and afternoon was the cherry on top for me. Deer, turkeys, rabbits. This is a great spot for someone who enjoys nature and history! I will definitely be booking this cabin for my next trip to Gettysburg and hopefully for longer next time!!

Cozy cabin

The cabin was very clean and cozy. We loved the location and the wildlife as well! The deer were beautiful! It was a very short drive to the Battlegrounds and Gettysburg..The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We found the sunroom to be the perfect spot for our Bible reading. We definitely recommend staying here! to be back.

A cozy cabin tucked into the woods that checked all the boxes for a weekend retreat! Kitchen is well stocked with cooking items - we made a whole Turkey dinner without missing a thing! Can’t wait to go back

Peaceful and private

This cabin was clean, comfrontable, and very private. The owners live next door and were extremely nice and accommodating. The stairways leading to the creek are a bit challenging but worth the effort for a great place to relax by the water.

Perfect!

This quaint cottage is just what we needed for a family early Christmas celebration in Gettysburg. The location was perfect, easy to get in and out of downtown Gettysburg. The area is quiet and serene. The house was clean and offered lots of little perks, including games! We had so much fun and will consider it for sure again when we come back.!

Amazing hosts and property!

Tami and Greg were amazing hosts and the property was gorgeous. They made themselves available for anything we needed. We chatted about the local history and Greg’s family ties to the Battle of Gettysburg. The cabin was cute and clean. Highly recommend!!

Creekside Cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Creekside Cabin. The location was a fantastic rural, quiet setting yet still close to all the local attractions and Battlefields. Sitting on the front porch after a day of touring was a perfect way to relax and enjoy the peacefulness of this property.
