"On our way from Cape Town to the wonderful Pure Nature Lodge in Paterson we stopped twice at The Old Trading Post for one night stop-over. No air con it was quite hot when we were there those accustomed to air con would not be comfortable . those that do not need tempature control would find it a safe clean well situated venue"
"The dog, Reacher, is super friendly. Water is only rain water so must be used sparingly. The little space is great for a short stay but would be cramped for extended periods. Beautiful garden with little pond right on your doorstep, but careful of wasps. "

"The ideal place to stay on the Garden Route as approximately halfway.However more importantly The Trading Place exudes a beautiful calm rustic charm, exemplifed by the host. The most delicious breakfast awaits you at a time of your choce, the bread is homemade. Highly recommended is their preordered pizza in the evening. The host is coincidentally the guide for the river trips, so has exceptional knowledge on the nature of the area.
