Long weekend

Fabulous property with easy access to downtown. We enjoying walking downtown. Our dogs loved the fenced backyard. Great communications with host. Highly recommend.

Wonderful cottage.

We were in SC visiting family and stayed at the Rice Cottage. The home was lovely. Especially the screened in porch and fenced in backyard. My dog also loved it.

Great house, wonderful neighborhood

We had a great time in Rice cottage. Very well stocked kitchen, nice decor and loved the screened porch and the fenced garden. Georgetown is an interesting town and the cottage's proximity to downtown is a major plus. Highly recomended.

Highly recommend!

Rice Cottage provides the perfect place for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and everything (absolutely everything!) you could possibly need during your stay. Thoughtful touches like night lights in every room were greatly appreciated. Our host was lovely and communication was top notch. Georgetown is the perfect destination in between Charleston and Myrtle Beach - quiet but an easy drive to either place. Would love to stay here again!

This is a very cute cottage just a few minutes walk to Front Street. Owner was very quick to communicate and accommodating. Kitchen is well equipped and the porch and patio were well enjoyed. Thank you!

Boat Show stay

Well appointed, small home. We had everything we needed. Great kitchen and back porch. Convenient location. Living room a bit small for our family of five but this was overall a great property. Fees turned a reasonable nightly rate into an expensive short term stay.

Home away from home

What a wonderful gem of a cottage! From the moment you walked through the door, the hospitality of the host was evident. This property was welcoming, well equipped, and made special with thoughtful touches. The description provided was not only accurate but exceeded expectations. This was one of best Rental properties I’ve stayed at. I couldn’t recommend Rice cottage more

Great place to come home to!

Cozy house with all the comforts of home. Within walking distance of downtown Georgetown and numerous restaurants. There was a city water problem while we were in town. Betts kept us up-to-date on the situation, and even dropped off 3 cases of water for us to use until it was resolved. Would definitely stay here again.

Very Nice Stay!

Very cute, dainty little cottage, yet very accommodating! Ms. Betts was very responsive to any questions. You will definitely have everything you will need for your stay, so there will be no need to buy supplies, unless you just absolutely want to. The book for the property had things to do and restaurants to try. Walking distance from the strip(Front St) and only about 10 min from the beach. Very nice town and we had a lovely stay. We will try and book again when we get a chance!

Fabulous place to stay.....

In town for a wedding. House was in the perfect location. Very cute. Fully furnished ....including a large coffee pot for the coffee drinkers. Great linens. One of the people lost his wallet in the house [we discovered that he didn't have it as leaving for airport--he did have his license. The owner found it and sent it overnight to the owner. Thank you for a great stay.

Perfect As Always

This wasn't our first time staying at the Rice Cottage and it most certainly won't be our last. It is truly a home away from home. We stayed this weekend while we fished the Georgetown Blue Marlin Tournament. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the greatest, so the tournament kept getting pushed back. The owner was so understanding and kind enough to work with us on rearranging our dates. Her communication is wonderful and she's so easy to work with!
