Our family welcomes you to share in our lifelong dream to enjoy our piece of Heaven. We treat all of our guests like family and we strive to earn your rave reviews after every visit. "Bella Vista" is a nod to our family's Italian heritage. Meaning "Beautiful View" There is no simpler way to begin to describe the allure of this piece of heaven. The entrancing views from the front porch will not disappoint even the most discerning traveler. With the ever-changing colors of the water, the gentle lapping of the water just steps from your front door, and the occasional rainbow stretching across the sky, Bella Vista certainly earns her name.

We have enjoyed 6 years of hosting and have been blessed with a loyal family of guests since the beginning. Bella Vista's popularity has grown thanks to our guests and the wonderful comments made about their experience. If your dates are not available, please check out our sister property; Bella Vista Breeze, which is just 3 doors down!! We want everyone to enjoy the wonders of Exuma. With 2 properties of our own and our network of friends within the resort offering a wide array of other villas to choose from, we can certainly find the perfect accommodations for you, your family, extended family, and all of your friends. Please feel free to ask!!

We welcome both short and long term rentals. For rentals over 2 weeks in length, we will hold a $500 security deposit that will be returned within one week of the end of your rental.

Bella Vista is thrilled to be part of the Guest Services Program at The Hideaways at Palm Bay Beach Club. Being a part of this program is what separates Bella Vista from some other properties. Our guests have complete access to the Pool, Fitness Center, all Watersports, Shuttle service into George Town, the brand new Hospitality Suite, and the concierge services of the front desk. Not all properties are the same, underpriced properties do not give you access to anything the resort has to offer. Be sure to ask all hosts in The Hideaways at the Palm Bay Beach Club if their guests have complete access to the amenities. If you are going to stay in a resort, you should enjoy the resort!

We believe your vacation begins the moment you begin planning. We are here to help as much or as little as you'd like. We have made all the mistakes and we have discovered all the hidden gems throughout the island. We welcome the opportunity to share what we have learned and connect our guests to our friends on the island. We are not satisfied until our guests fall in love with Exuma!

The large (almost 700 Sq Ft) unit provides ample space for up to 4 people with a King-sized Master bed, a queen-size Murphy Bed, a fully stocked kitchen, a washer & dryer, and our comfy lounge chairs to soak up the sunrise each morning. Thanks to a network of friends within the resort, if you are traveling with an extended family, we can also help find other accommodations for the rest of your party. Just feel free to ask us to help.

Palm Bay Beach Club is perfectly located right between Jolly Hall Beach and The Famous Fish Fry; all within walking distance of the unit. Convenience abounds for all guests with an on-sight restaurant - "Splash" and Rental Car facilities located right across the street.

We loved our time at Bella Vista! The location is amazing -- literally right on the beach with beautiful views. The villa had everything we needed and felt super cozy and comfortable. The host were very responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. We didn't want to leave and are already planning our next trip back.

First time visit to the Bahamas

The property is was perfect for us and was just as advertised. And the view from the unit was out of this world. Stunning. The owners get an A for their attentiveness and helpfulness on many fronts. They could write the book on being good VRBO hosts!

Amazing!

This was our first time to Exuma. The hosts were extremely helpful with suggestions and recommendations to make our vacation amazing.The unit is at a wonderful location right on the beach and had everything we needed to make our stay one of the bests! We will definitely be back again :)

Bella Vista is a paradise! Just bring your swimsuits because Roseann and Michael thought of everything else! The location, all the comforts of home and great communication made this a win!

Can't Wait to Go Back!

We have stayed at the Hideaways property previously and really like the amenities. The cottages vary in terms of their comfort and supplies and Bella Vista is the absolute best. We really appreciated the chairs and umbrella and the stocked kitchen. The views are unbeatable - you can see the ocean from the bed. The owners have great communication in advance of arrival and made everything easy for us. We can't wait to go back to Bella Vista or the owners' other beachfront cottage.

Perfect villa for a family!

This is the best place I have rented, hands down. The villa was exceptionally clean, with everything you possibly need and more. Such cute decor!! Owners are incredibly helpful and responsive! We visited a ton of places on the island and honesty when we come back we will come back to the same one. Thank you for your hospitality!

Awesome little property! Great for couples!

We loved our time at Bella Vista. The location was great, and the view is spectacular. We stayed during the off-season (mid September) so finding an open restaurant was an adventure. We ended up walking down to the Fish Fry each night, where the food is just excellent. The owners of the villa are great to communicate with and gave us a lot of detail about the area that we found very useful. Highly recommend this property.

Great place right on the water

We had a great time at the property. It's conveniently located close to town and right on the beach. Walk out the door and the amazing turquoise waters are right in front of you. The property is well stocked, very comfortable, and its proximity to town cant be beat. The owners have meticulously maintained this property, were quick to respond to questions and provide great advice for first-timers to the island. We couldn't be more pleased with our stay. Thanks for amazing time!

No surprises, everything was exactly as listed and pictured in the ad. The owners were very helpful answering any questions you have during your stay. Having the splash restaurant/bar next door was very convenient.1 week and wasn’t long enough for us in the Bella Vista. We will definitely be back!

Birthday celebration

Michael and Roseanne were so helpful every step of the planning process and with all questions during our stay. The unit was a slice of heaven on earth with the warm winds ,blue waters and soft sandy beach right outside the front door. It had everything you could want and more. Beautiful decor, comfortable, clean and filled with helpful information. The place and people were amazing and we hope to return to Exuma !

Awesome place

It’s a little gem on the beach 🏖 the owners have it fully stocked with everything you will need. Including snorkel gear. There’s a beautiful beach that’s a short walk from the property that is great to walk too in the mornings. There’s a grocery store down the street that’s convenient and the famous fish fry is area is walking distance. The owners happened to be there when we arrived and were very accommodating and gave us a lot of recommendations of things to do. We would definitely go back and stay here!

Our Happy Place

We love Great Exuma and were very pleased with our stay at the villa. It was extremely clean and close to several great beach spots. It's a little hidden gem in the Hideaways Resort, which is convenient to several grocery stores/restaurants. Having the washer and dryer on site was soooooo nice. We got to meet and visit with the owners so that was a special treat. They were very helpful and provided lots of pointers, even when we had to questions about getting our COVID tests in order to fly home. We hope to own a little piece of paradise one day as well! Thank you for sharing your home away from home with us!

Loved Our Stay

This was the first time that my husband and I have been in the Bahamas. The Exuma Islands are amazing! We are super-happy with our stay at Bella Vista. The view was beyond expectation, and the location could not have been better. The unit was very clean and well equipped. We had everything we needed. The staff at the Hideaways are very helpful and friendly. The packet that we received from Michael and Roseann as soon as we booked was very useful. Michael and Roseanne were always quick to reply to any questions we had before and during our stay. We would definitely recommend Bella Vista. Thank you for a great experience.

Anniversary Celebration Adventure

Bella Vista and accommodations were excellent!! My husband and I learned about Exuma by watching Bahamas Life on HGTV. After watching the episode featuring Michael and Roseann we thought it would be the perfect place to celebrate our 31st anniversary. The unit is beautifully decorated, beach front and well equipped with all the amenities anyone would need!! Communication from owners was excellent before during and after our stay. Our flight was delayed a day and they were gracious enough to allow us to stay another night since the unit was vacant. We hope to return and stay at Bella Vista again!! There’s nothing more beautiful the Exuma blues!!

Amazing property with stunning views

This property-and the service from the owner was well beyond 5 stars. It was stocked with everything we could have possibly needed and then some. Kudo's to the housekeeping staff, the place was spotless. Thank you to the prior guests or owner for leaving spare coffee for us, we arrived on a Sunday when everything was closed. If we didn't want to sit outside, we could relax in the living room and still see an amazing view. Jolly Hall beach is just a short walk on the beach to the left. For exceptional dining, take a very short walk to Augusta Bay. The only problem we had is that we didn't book a long enough stay. We will remedy that next time.

5 stars is not enough!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bella Vista. Opening the door each morning to the gorgeous view of the Caribbean Sea was our favorite part. You are literally steps from the beach. The property was spotless! It was stocked with anything you might need including beach chairs, towels, coolers, etc. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need should you choose to cook during your stay. We cannot say enough about the staff at the resort. We arrived quite early on a Sunday. Cleo, the housekeeping manager had us in long before our 4 pm check-in. Annette, Cindy, and Reesa at the front desk bent over backward even helping us get a rental car. If you want to enjoy and explore beautiful Exuma-Bella Vista is the perfect spot!

Great place for a getaway

I always try to find 5-star VRBO places as they rarely disappoint and this was no exception. But what really stood out that many other 5-star places don’t always have is how well maintained the villa is and how nice the amenities are (ie. kitchen pots and pans were almost like new condition and quality materials). The villa has great air conditioning, fantastic water pressure, comfy bed and as other reviewers noted, the hosts has a plethora of items to use to make your stay complete - from any beach gear you can think of to sunscreen and bug spray to a private washer/dryer…. and towels that are like the kind you would have at home! Communication with the hosts was perfect from the start - they’re super responsive and ensure you have all the information you need for your stay. And since they are attached to the Hideaways resort, it was really nice to have the resort perks such as access to kayaks, paddle boards, front desk and lounge. And the staff were some of the nicest people I’ve met. Location is also great as it’s near Georgetown and right in the center of it all. Highly recommend this place for your Exuma trip!

Great stay and amenities on the beach

Bellavista was perfect for us, all the amenities you can think of especially chairs and umbrella. The beach in front is neat in its on right plus sites over at stocking but the hidden gem is a 5-10 walk to your left. Unbelievable beach with calm beautiful blue water that is waist deep as far as you can go! Owners assessable anytime on the what’s up app as well. They even have a 2nd unit Bellavista Breeze 3 doors down. Will definitely seek another week with them the next time we try.

Blissful Solo Trip

Due to schedules and flight delays, a girls trip to Exuma was canceled. Looking on line I noticed that this wonderful 1 bdr cottage was available for a few days and jumped on it. I needed a Bahama break.So happy I did. The location is fabulous. Perfectly clear swimmable water, fantastic snorkeling, good restaurants in walking distance. Comes with kayaks and paddle boards and water toys. I was able to order groceries in advance and have them delivered for my arrival!The bed was super comfortable, Kitchen has everything you need. I felt very safe here and in George Town.The owners go out of their way to be accommodating. they are fantastic! Highly recommend this rental for solo or couple.
