"It's a little bit tired to be honest. The room was spacious and reasonably well equipped. But, the towel rail did not work and the heating system was a bit iffy, so getting the right temperature was a bit of a trial; and the first day was pretty chilly. The bathroom was odd as it was designed like a wet room, but the water did not like to drain into the shower area, so feet got wet every time I went into the bathroom - the water just laying there. "We loved our stay in La Rochelle. The staff were super friendly, really helpful with recommendations and we felt really well looked after. We were also offered a welcome drink which was a wonderful start to our stay. Great location for exploring La Rochelle allowing you to walk everywhere. We were a family of 5 staying at the hotel and we had plenty of space - two rooms with an interlocking door, one being a suite so we didn't feel cramped at all. We didn't want to leave!"

We were a little disappointed as room was not cleaned for the first few days and we had to request clean towels and toilet rolls to be brought to room. Management were very good and apologised. Not too much of a problem as only slept there but initially it felt a little claustrophobic. Great location. Would stay there again but only in a room with a window you could see out of and opened."
