Siamo arrivati lunedì 8 agosto al Poggio hotel e ci siamo fin da subito trovati benissimo sia per l' accoglienza del personale che per il confort delle camere e i servizi. Consiglio a tutti questo hotel a 3 min dal mare e vicino all' imbocco autostrada. 5stelle

Don't be misled by the photos you see..

This is an overrated hotel. Its a 3 star hotel than a 4 star on the side of the A road. The photo taken at night view of the pool really blinded my selection. Staff are not friendly at all. On our arrival, that evening we wanted to have tea/coffee in our room and turns out to be they don't provide those in the room itself, which is weird as all other hotels does it. They brought the drink, but not the milk. When we requested the milk, they were sulking already. In the evening we went for a swim, the water was ice cold. The jacuzzi water was so grey and there were dirt stains around the tub. I asked the hotel manager if its cleaned, he said yes. Next morning, the water was clear white and no stains. That night we went for dinner at the hotel's restaurant - again, shocking. There are 6 tables seated, and they are expecting another 20 people to seat for an event - how many staff attending? Just 2!! One manager and an inexperienced waitress. It wasnt child friendly as they didnt have child seat, so they brought a cleaned linen bag, to boost the chair. It took them 30 mins to get our order by then my sons were so hungry and tired. So I told them, we will take the food to our room. So rather than charging us 1 set meal (3 dishes) at 20 euros, he tried charging us individual meal, which was 33 euros. I made him to charge back 20 euros as that was the deal. Finally we paid for 4 beds, what they gave us was 2 beds, 1 sofa bed and 1 foldable bed. Shocking. Will never stay here again,

Station balnéaire à usage des autochtones.

Le mieux est d'avoir un véhicule. L'hôtel se trouve à la sortie de l'autoroute, pour aller en ville il faut une voiture, et en ville il est très difficile de se garer. Une fois en ville ou sur la plage, on fait connaissance avec les habitants, leur bonhomie, leur joie de vivre.On découvre des ensembles de cabines de bain en très grand nombre qui permettent aux gens du cru de se mettre en tenue de plage, et de laisser en sécurité leurs vêtements.Aucun monument à visiter.

siamo stati all'hotel Poggio per una notte . siamo stati bene, camera molto confortevole, ingresso indipendente con posto auto molto comodo, posizione strategica sia per fare dei giri ( visto che è vicino all'autostrada) ma anche comoda per raggiungere il paese attraverso una stradina si arriva in centro ( 15 minuti circa) .Personale molto cortese .

Large and modern rooms

We chose this hotel for the location with easy access to the highways and since it had an indoor pool, which seemed nice in April. However, the indoor pool was closed and wouldn't open till after our stay. Same for the jacuzzi. The hotel is not very special, but the rooms are big and modern. There is free parking, but the layout is a bit cramped to get into or out of the parking garage. Also the people parking upstairs next to their rooms have park quite well, otherwise they might block the path for others. The breakfast is ok, but was not worth the money for us. There is plenty of food in Italy.
