Guest Access:

Guests have private access to the cottage, fire pit, grill, and kayaks. The game room and dock are shared only with the main house (Cast Away).



The Neighborhood:

Tucked along a quiet lakeside road, the cottage offers peaceful surroundings with easy access to the best of the Finger Lakes. You’re just minutes from top wineries, cozy breweries, and scenic lakefront spots. While the area is quiet and private, it’s also centrally located—perfect for exploring Seneca Lake, downtown Geneva, and the surrounding wine trail.



Getting Around:

A car is highly recommended for exploring the area. Private taxis/car services and private wine tours are available.



Other Things to Note:

➡️This property can be rented in conjunction with the main house (Cast Away) to sleep up to 10 people in total, and then have the dock and game room only for your guests.

➡️ Please note: We provide cooking basics, with the exception of oil at this time—it will be included in the future.

➡️ A Pack ’n Play is available BY REQUEST ONLY and provided free of charge. Please let us know in advance if you’d like one so we can have it ready for your arrival.

➡️ No stove, but the kitchenette includes all the essentials for light cooking

➡️ Shared amenities: dock and garage game room

➡️ Guests must sign the Get RED-y Vacations rental agreement before check-in

➡️ Security camera at the entrance for your safety

➡️ Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM per town ordinance. This is a peaceful area with year-round residents—please be respectful during your stay.

➡️ Parking – 1 car allowed at the property and it is marked for the cottage guests.

➡️ Boats may not be docked at the property.

➡️ Fire pit, kayaks, & game room – Use at your own risk

➡️ Train Crossing: A nearby train occasionally passes (~1–2 times per day). It's brief and typically quiet, but always stop and look both ways when crossing the tracks.

➡️ Some amenities may be seasonal and availability can vary depending on weather and time of year.
