Was ok. Hotel now a bit dated. No bar or restaurant open in the evening, just a badly stocked vending machine. I ended up walking round to the Ibis next door for a drink at the bar there and they seemed friendly enough.

Poor quality beds, uncomfortable pillows, only one small bottle of water, gym and pool close at 10:00pm and only open at 8:00 am Location is very far from Geneva airport and in the early morning you are stuck on heavy rush hour commute traffic...bottom line -do not stay there if you have early flight to catch - two buses to get from hotel to airport - no shuttles...a debacle

No restaurant, no bar; locaqted in the middle of nowhere and lots of early traffic jams: 35mn for 4,5km; I met only two other customers though it is a big one, so guess most people choose the Ibis nearby! The romm was so hot, I had to open the window in winter!

I booked to stay here while working in Geneva. A few things were disappointing: 1. Accessing the hotel on public transport is not easy. It is quite remote and took 3 changes of bus over 90 min to get to work. I wouldn't mind but using "Geneve" in the name implies better access. 2. The pool doesn't open till 8am (so not convenient for pre-work workouts) and it is tiny (6 strokes from one end to the other). The "gym" is just three cardio machines. The sauna was not very warm. There are no lockers. Best to return to your room in a towel and change there. 3. After getting to the hotel, I had to walk back 15 minutes on badly lit roads to the nearest restaurant. If the hotel had one, it wasn't open.

Very poor. No bar or restaurant facilities. Had to walk over a mile to find the nearest and cost over £100 for the privilege ! Spend more money and avoid expensive shocks! 🙈

Not really up to Best Western standards
It was funcrional and clean but I booked through Hotels.com at the very last minute and deliberately searched hotels with restaurants. When we arrived. We checked in AND THEN we were told that the restaurant was closed! We had been on the road for 12 hours and had to drive almost 10km to a restaurant. Then, in the room was ONE sachet of milk - I asked at reception for more and they gave me just 2 more - one drink requires at least 4! My husband and I had to share a coffee! The room was clean and there was secure parking and a pool - breakfast was an additional €17 Euro EACH - we did not eat there and bought a perfectly good breakfast elsewhere for €10 for two people! We regularly stay at Best Western but this didn’t come up to the usual standard.

Very disappointed with a four star charging nearly 100 euro and getting plastic and paper cups in the room. No toiletries only generic on the wall. One tea bag. Very poor. Premier Inn the next night half the price with porcelain mugs and glasses.

Mouldy, hot hotel rooms.
I figured I couldn't go wrong with this one, but I was wrong. End of September, not very warm outside, but room temperature on arrival was incredibly high. Airco was only blowing in hot air, on Cool setting. Opening the windows let in the noise from the Motorway. Room was dusty and the smell of mould was obvious. Second night, some rappers were celebrating on the 2nd floor, so lots of doors opening, closing, music, loud talking etcetera. Asked for different room, so once again, hot room, mouldy, etc. jus t not a clean hotel, not up to standards and poor quality/cost ratio. Never again.

Inconvenient location, when I looking Geneva airport hotel, didn't realize that's on Frances, that was a lot of troubles Can't believe receptioniest only speaks Frances not English, don't have currency change, even don't have ATM machine, we will not come back again

Very Affordable Hotel 15 Minutes from Geneva
Had to stay in or near Geneva for the Geneva Motor Show, and this hotel (although in France) is very close to downtown Geneva / the Palexpo for a good price.

A bit of a upgrade would attract people !
Room amenities are unfortunately "no frills" and outdated. The beds were OK. A mountain view means the side of the Saleve which is a rock faced cliff. Used my imagination a bit and pretended it was a "mountain." Receptionists were friendly. Live piano music as we checked out which was an overall improvement to the bleak setting this hotel finds itself in.

Quality hotel outside Geneva Switzerland
Very nice hotel at a reasonable price when compared to Geneva proper. All the staff were helpful and did their best with English speaking visitors. Their breakfast was very nice, reasonably priced and well recommended. The only drawback was that the hotel is away from shopping centres any you really do need a car to stay there. You can get to Geneva by public transport but it will take you three changes to get back there (or so we were told).

Location to Geneve was handy
It was a nice hotel, we had a pleasant stay. Breakfast was not so pleasant quite pricey for what was on offer. Nice big rooms. Helpful staff. The garden was smelly of manure on both days that would only be the most negative. GPS address on itinerary is wrong.

South of Geneva getaway
Good place to stay if you want to get out of Geneva. The public transportation will take some time, especially on weekends, and so wait time increases. This hotel has mountainous views and with just a little walk, you can overlook all of Geneva. You will notice paragliders above Mount Saleve, and you will have good breakfasts here if you choose.

Porte Sud de Geneve Review
I stayed four nights at this Best Western and was satisfied with the room. I was also glad to have access to a computer as I was travelling without an electronic device. The breakfasts here are fantastic and well-served. The scenery is surrounded by mountains, so you can watch paragliders and well-organized agricultural fields. Choose whether to take Bus M or walk; i.e. access to Geneva. The border to Switzerland is close.

Ppl who's not travel by car please don't book this hotel , it's not in Geneva but France , such a joke ! It takes 1.5 hours to Geneva , and there is no any interests around the hotel !

The rooms were large and comfortable, the staff were also very friendly. The room however was rather stuffy and we couldn't turn on the fan. A fridge in the room would have also been handy.

Stop over on route to the Alps
We stayed one night in this hotel on route to the Alps. It was perfectly functional for this one night stay over. The reception desk was open all night and check-in was very easy. The rooms were clean, a good size and quiet allowing for a good night's sleep. We chose the hotel partly because of the pool. It was a bit tired but we had it to ourselves and it was warm enough for the kids to really enjoy it the next morning.

Wonderful trip
This is a beautiful hotel. Location is a bit far from the city but we were driving so it is not a problem for us. The room is very clean, and bed is comfortable. The staff there was very friendly.

Was average. Reasonably clean rooms and friendly front desk. However, considering the amenities typically offered by typical 4* hotels, this is clearly way behind. In my opinion, this is a good 3* hotel with good proximity to geneva

Fine hotel for business or other general purpose
I recently stayed at this hotel for a week. The location was good for me....5 minute drive from my brothers house, but for others it may be out in the middle of no where. Make sure you have a GPS and the addresses of where you would like to go. All of the staff and facilities were excellent and almost everyone spoke some English. The food that we had at the hotel (limited because we mostly ate at my brothers house) was very good. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in and the linens were soft and pleasing, I would have liked more pillows but we did not get around to even ask for them. The other furniture was certainly adequate. Housekeeping did a very good job. The hairdryer in the bathroom was too weak to use on my hair and there were no toiletries so make sure and bring you own. Since the hotel was not near anything you would need to drive into Collonge sous Saleve (the closest town) for supplies. We did not use the fitness facilities or the pool but it was nice that they were there.
