The house was spacious with lots of different seating options both inside and outside. It was great having access to the canoe and fire pit. The location is perfect for exploring the Seneca Lake area. It is only 30 minutes from Watkins Glen, less than 15 minutes from Walmart and other grocery stores and close to countless wineries and breweries (we recommend Fox Run Winery and War Horse Brewery). We would stay again if we come to the area.

Beautiful Lakefront House

We booked this house for a girls weekend and it was perfect! The house was very clean, the owners were responsive, and the location is amazing. Excited to visit again!

Fantastic lake house! It was very comfortable. Our kids loved to get out on the lake and play on the dock. There is also plenty to do within a short drive. Kashong is like stepping back in time. It reminded my father of growing up in Kashong on the lake 75 years ago.

Vacation at the lake

The house was lovely and very clean. My only concern was that the owners should consider having an exterminator address the hornets on the deck area. We traveled with little ones and I was nervous to have them outside.

Wonderful house!

The house was in a great location to the wineries and a beautiful setting. It had everything we needed for a great long weekend. This house also had enough chairs to play games and eat at the huge table. That’s a big plus. Also, the owner did a great job on coresponding with us so our arrival and stay went well. Overall very great! With a few minor cons

The house, view, sleeping arrangements, decor, dock were all amazing. Only a few cons that didn’t interrupt our trip at all but worth mentioning. If you have a large party, there is only one bathroom even though the house sleeps 14-16 people. We had a large group and it was a challenge for us (my fault for not reading bathroom numbers when booking). The house runs on a septic system which I’m assuming is the reason for the one bathroom but something to consider if you have a big group. There’s no air conditioning on the bottom floor and one AC unit in a room upstairs. Our first day there was extremely humid and it was very uncomfortable. Fortunately the weather changed pretty quickly in September for it to be comfortable the rest of the day. Something to consider if you’re booking during warm weather. There was a mouse in the kitchen. Most of us are country people so we’re used to it but some of us weren’t which was a little off putting for them. In the end we named him Stuart Little and it was somewhat of a joke for the trip. It seemed as though they were aware of the mouse situation though because I saw traps in the laundry area.

Perfect Spot

We stayed her for my daughters graduation from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. The property is beautiful and right on the water. Great backyard and beautiful views of the water. We didn’t get to swim as it was early May though. House has a ton of room and has everything you need to make it a comfortable stay. Would recommend for anyone with a larger family (there were 7 of us). Thanks for a great stay!

Great family getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing family trip. The layout worked well for us — plenty of space for everyone to spread out without feeling on top of each other. Having multiple bathrooms was a big plus, especially with kids.The house was well-stocked with all the essentials — the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals.The yard and dock area were big highlights. The kids had lots of room to run around, and we spent as much time as we could outside enjoying the water and the peaceful surroundings, despite our bad weather!The location was convenient. Easy to get to local shops and restaurants without being in the middle of everything. The BBQ across the street was exceptionally good! Overall, a great place for a low-key, comfortable family vacation. We’d definitely consider coming back.

Charming Home in Beautiful Location

The house is very comfortable and very charming. Decor is beach house and I just felt relaxed from the moment I got there. It is a very enjoyable home to stay in and I would plan on staying in the same home again in the future.

Finger Lake Family Reunion

Excellent stay at Geneva Oasis. House is beautifully decorated, clean and well-stocked with essentials. View of and access to lake is fabulous. Couldn’t have been happier here!

Girl's weekend getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at the house. Bedrooms were bright and airy, and there was plenty of room and sleeping Sunroom was lovely for conversations and morning coffee. Location was great for Watkins Glen and Geneva and the wineries.

Long weekend

Two families of 4 from Canada met up and we had a great time. The house accommodated all 8 of us very well. Both for sleeping, eating and game nights. The location on the water was stunning. Must be wonderful to go for a swim in the summer. Water a bit too cold in December. Overall a great experience. We can see ourselves coming back here.

Long Weekend - perfect location

perfect place to stay! There were 7 of us, it was easy to get to the wineries on Seneca Lake. The view of the lake, the dock with glider and the chairs around the firepit made the trip, we spent a lot of time outback enjoying the view. The rooms were cozy. The house was very comfortable to hang out in, we didn’t even use all the rooms to sit in, there is a great amount of space. The kitchen is perfect set up and the 2nd fridge space really helped. Overall, great trip with friends.

Girls’ Weekend

We have been friends since high school who live in various places across the US. We get together every year in a different location for a girls’ weekend. We had a great time and the home was perfect for our group. It was well appointed, comfortable and in a beautiful location. I highly recommend it.

Perfect spot for relaxing

We chose this home for a reunion of nurse friends and school mates of 52 years. We all turned 70 this year! It didn't fail. House was clean with very lovely furnishings. Location on the lake was wonderful especially for senior group. No steps! We gathered in kitchen, living room, deck and yard. Totally met our needs.

Great place on Seneca Lake

We enjoyed our time staying at this property. It was a great place for our family to be together on the lake. The lakefront and yard are perfect! A really nice perk is the short walk across the street to SMOKIN PETES BBQ.

Wine Weekend!!

The inside of the property was very clean, comfortable and relaxed! Loved the location, situated between Geneva and Watkins Glen equally as well as a large number of wineries within close proximity. The kitchen was well supplied with equipment. It was calming listening to the waves in the morning and building a fire by the water at night!! There is no whole house air which was comfortable downstairs but 2 of the upstairs bedrooms need A/C. I would recommend that the porch area be cleaned up prior to check in. There were spider webs and debris making it uncomfortable to enjoy until we clean the area some. Expected some since it was outside and near the lake but it did need some attention. Watch out for the wasp and hornet nests around the deck for those who are highly allergic. All in all we had a great girls weekend, had a blast and would not hesitate to rent again.
