Not cozy at all. Dirty floors/floorboards/walls. Stained carpet in bedrooms. Upon arriving, thermostat read 52 degrees. Furnace didn’t work. 3 space heaters weren’t enough and are inappropriate in this case. Didn’t try wood stove as ceiling tiles above flue were falling off. Old extension cords in the bedrooms. The electrical outlets were all different, and didn’t look like they were professionally done. General disrepair of the entire house didn’t inspire confidence. Rust inside the refrigerator. First time I tried to close the bathroom door, the door knob came off in my hand. Actually, the door mechanism seemed to be made of mis-matched parts with some missing entirely.I contacted Vacasa about the door knob, and they responded quickly. The 2nd day, the fire alarm (only 1) started beeping. I again contacted Vacasa-first person said they worked in compliance and couldn’t help but finally said they would pass along message. I then emailed twice about this. Received a reply the next day saying they were looking into it!The online photos of this property do not match the reality of it. This property does not meet the standards I’ve experienced at other VRBO properties.After this experience, I will be not use Vacasa maintained rentals. I feel we wasted a good amount of our vacation dealing with this properties issues.
