This is a gorgeous property! I have stayed at a few hotels in Gävle from the USA and this place has been my favorite! The breakfast is fantastic, the room was the best in town! Will stay again!

AC is the biggest perk

Good hotel with AC!! The hotel is not the best but it’s still nice enough for a night or two. Breakfast was super crowded and it was kind of dirty, probably because the staff was overwhelmed at this particular hour.

Really nice and comfortable hotel

I found this hotel to be very comfortable with nice pillows for example that makes it more like a home than hotels do generally. Very comfortable room and I slept especially well in it. Good sauna and a little gym also.

Wonderful staff in a bit old hotel

The hotel is slightly run down, but in a comfortable way. Like you're in somebody's living room... The mostly female staff is attentive, friendly and helpful; which definitely adds to the homely feeling. The restaurant is very good, but a bit pricey, but the food is of great quality. Breakfast was a bit disappointing; the warm dishes were cold and the assortment of cold cuts was poor.

Restaurant is excellent and staff friendly. But our room was not cleaned and the rug was full of fur from a dog or cat. Enough to bother me even though my allergy is mild. Upon arrival we were told the parking was full. All in all a mixed experience.

The hotel is old and construction works in 3. floor taken place. Rooms at that floor directly beside those works are still for rent, like ours.

The bed was like a saggy bowl with the middle part so deep i woke up with s back pain. Otherwise the hotel was standard quality.

Utmärkt läge mitt i Gävle

Bra hotell mitt i Gävle. Parkering finns, garaget är dock väldigt lågt i tak. Mycket trevlig personal som finns tillgängliga 24/7. Rummet var bra storlek för två vuxna och ett spädbarn med spjälsäng. Frukosten hade ett mycket imponerande utbud av varm mat och en stor matsal.

Rekommenderar!

Otroligt fint rum/svit. Älskade badrummet. Åt middag på restaurangen på hotellet och maten var 10/10. Frukosten var den bästa jag fått på hotell hittills, som vegan brukar det inte vara så stort utbud men här fanns mycket. Trevlig personal i både reception och restaurang.
