Room was clean and warm but a bit on the small side. Good shower. Hotel is a bit dated but in keeping with the character of the village. 20 mins walk into Garmisch. Supermarket and bistro on the doorstep of the hotel. Good selection for breakfast. Swimming pool and gym on site. Near the Olympic ski jump and 30-40 minute walk to Partnachklamm Gorge which is absolutely worth a visit.

Nice hotel. Good food. But the room was not cleaned well. Extremely dirty floor and hairs on the sink.

Horrible experience! I had a reservation paid in full, arrived to check in and they had no reservation in my name, I had printed my confirmation so I gave it to them and they made a copy. They informed me that they had an update in their system and it has given them problems, I was not the only one there having the same issue. The manager informed me that they had no rooms but they were trying to call other hotels, well after waiting over a hour we booked a new hotel room which cost us an extra $200.00. Ok fine it is what it is but the manager told me I would get a refund not to worry !!!! Well I have been denied a refund even through I have all my paper work !! Beware of this hotel !! They are scamming people !!! Make it right and give the people you wronged their money back !!!!!

Broken WC door, unable to close bathroom door with 3 people in room. Extremely inconvenient and awkward considering price of room.

We loved our stay at Mercure! The front desk staff was extremely helpful and kind. Helped us with suggestions for the Zugspitze and our rooms were very clean!

Old, beat up. Breakfast was terrible - stale bread, employees using their bare hands to arrange food on the plates, cheap meats. Nice coffee machine, though. If it is hot, ask for a fan. They have a few available but you have to ask - they won't volunteer it.
A skiing holiday in Garmisch. I’ve stayed here several times before and it’s always been excellent. Friendly staff, clean and large rooms, great breakfast and spa.
Very nice rooms, good breakfast also.
Only one person on the reception is a bit low for such a big hotel.
Would definetly go again.

The room is very comfortable, breakfast is excellent, staff is very helpful. The Garmisch area is magnificent place to visit. This hotel is actually much nicer than the cover photo of the pool.
