"We spent a week at the Grand Hotel Terme di Sirmione in mid-September 2024. The hotel is excellent, and all the staff are always helpful. The thermal pool was a big hit, you can spend many happy hours in it even when it is raining. The sulphur smell from the thermal pool can at times intrude into small parts of the hotel (the smell is not really noticeable in the open air at the pool), but that is a very small price for such a wonderful facility. The buffet breakfast is OK but if, like me, you like your bacon thickly cut they will slice and cook it specially on order, along with freshly cooked accompaniments like grilled mushrooms, grilled tomatoes and fried egg. If you are a dog lover you will not be bothered by the fact that at weekends Italian guests bring their dogs and these are allowed into the restaurant! This is the only aspect of the hotel I would want to change, but having said that we will happily stay there again in the future."

"The location is at a very convenient (walkable) distance from the castle of Sirmione, without being too close. This way we avoided the traffic jam."

"Villa Rochelle is simply wonderful. The villa has everything you need and over many levels which lead into the many bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped with all you need to make your morning coffee or a pasta dish with ingredients from the nearby shops. The deli in town is called Bignotti and has everything from wine to cheese to meats. All bedrooms are well equipped and the top two bedrooms have aircon. The other bedrooms have fans. The tv room is great and the massive tv has apps that allow you to access Netflix or Prime on your own account (remember to log out....). The balcony area is just wonderful and this is what draws most of the pictures of the villa - it's every bit the stunning vista and the awnings give the shade if the sun is too much. Looking over the lake watching the boats can while away the hours - pour some wine and watch the world go by. The gardens are spectacular and over 5 levels. The swimming pool is fantastic. We went in September and after 2 seconds, you get used to the temperature (diving off the little springboard makes this easier...). The host Novella was always available (both before and during) and gave advice and instruction which was very welcome. We had a slight issue with wifi and was fixed the same day. The villa uses the 3 prong Italian plug she make sure your adapters can work with these - there are a few in the villa to help though. The villa and location are fantastic and you will not be disappointed if you book. "

"Arrived on a Sunday and initially we were redirected by the local police as they were not allowing cars to get any closer to the area where the hotels are located. We tried alternative routes and did not find any and next time we arrived at the roundabout we explained that we were staying overnight and allowed us through. We did not realise that the hotels have a separate parking area with a shuttle cart to take you to the hotel. We had difficulty getting the QR code for the parking from the Hotel but once we got that it was easy enough. This should be highlighted when booking on your site and would make the experience much more relaxed."
