Whether you are looking for a peaceful romantic getaway or a quiet family friendly lodge, this cabin is a perfect quiet respite away from stresses of daily life. Nestled on a bench above the Yellowstone River this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin sleeps six comfortably with a sofa sleeper boasting a new memory foam mattress. This modern cabin is equipped with a full kitchen, stocked with all of the needed utensils and spices. The washer and dryer can be handy on those long trips. The front porch offers great views of the mountains, sunsets and visiting wildlife. Enjoy it in the morning with a cup of coffee or in the evening with a refreshing beverage. With the North Entrance to Yellowstone National Park only 5 miles away, there is plenty to see and do. Spend time white water rafting, horseback riding, fly fishing or just traveling through the Park to return to this peaceful area each evening. There is an outdoor grill and campfire ring with all of the necessary charcoal and firewood available for use. For larger family gatherings the option of an RV site hook up or lawn space for a tent set up are available accommodations that can be made at the time of booking.

Great location for visiting Yellowstone

We truly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We loved the outdoor area, and it’s a great location for visiting Yellowstone! It was perfect for our group of 4. We would definitely book again if returning to the area!

Great space, especially outdoors

Really enjoyed staying here, had everything we needed. In the morning, the elk would come by and graze the lawn. The outdoor space was very well thought out.

Beautiful Cabin

this place has it all! Excellent place to visit the Northwestern Yellowstone park. Right out of the city, very secluded and excellent view. Two bedrooms with two bathrooms, full kitchen. We really had a great time there.

The cabin was great. Very clean and everything we needed they add bug spray bear spray enough towels. The area is surrounded by mountains and we even had about 15 elk in the yard. We so enjoyed the cabin.

We were really impressed with the location, amenities, and thought that went into our stay: housewarming gifts, bear spray, indoor and outdoor games, wood for fire, etc. We also enjoyed the herd of elk that hung around every day! We loved it and would stay again on our next visit.

Perfect Yellowstone North Gate Stay

We can't recommend this cabin enough. Just outside of Gardiner so you don't have the crowds but close enough to run in town for dinner. The cabin is equipped with everything you could possibly need. We loved watching the mule deer around the cabin every day. Tracy is a very responsive and accomodating host. We would definitely stay here again :)

My family and I stayed at the Rocking Y during our vacation to see Yellowstone. The location was great! Gardiner, MT had everything you could want as far as restaurants, grocery store, and gift shops, and easy access to the North Entrance of Yellowstone. At the cabin, we slept great and enjoyed the scenery, fire pit, and horseshoes. We also really appreciated all the extras like bear spray, cooler, ice packs, etc. Thank you, Rocking Y for your hospitality! We loved it!

Prime location

This property is only a few minutes to the north entrance of YNP. My kids loved the yard games, watching the night sky, and playing in the small stream. Super clean, kitchen well stocked. I would only suggest a crock pot might be a good addition. Great game and puzzles. We loved the books about yellowstone. Thanks fornsharing your home with us.

Rockin Y Cabin

This was the cleanest VRBO we have EVER stayed in!!! The owners had lots of spices, cookware, coolers, bear spray, bug spray, and binoculars for us to use. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. We highly recommend this cabin to stay in. We had Elk walking through the property, and we loved that. And we look forward to our next trip back to Montana. And the owners were so gracious that they had welcome gifts for us. The huckleberry is amazing!! Thank you Tracy and Yoshi.

Yellowstone jump off

This was the cutest cabin! Just a couple of miles from the park entrance. Beautiful view from the front porch/yard. Elk sighting every day from the cabin. One even walked right through the yard while I was enjoying my morning coffee. Tracy was an awesome host!

Quiet place to stay out of town

The place was very comfortable inside though I missed the bunkbed issue. And the photo needs updating. It is not as isolated as it appears. It is in the middle of several homes with no real sunset view.

Wonderful location

Perfect getaway cabin just a short drive to north entrance of YNP. Quiet, spacious, super clean, comfy beds, full kitchen, good WiFi, and terrific heaters! Tracy is a great host and is right next door if you need anything. She knows the area and the park if you need suggestions. Herd of elk in meadow to greet us the evening we arrived. Gardiner is just down the road and offered everything we needed. Much less touristy than West Yellowstone. Our stay was in early May, so we missed the crowds. Enjoyed our time relaxing at the cabin and so glad we chose the Rockin Y. If you're considering Gardiner, this is a winner!

Incredible!!!

This was by far, the best vacation rental we ever stayed at. It truly felt like “home”.The kitchen was VERY well stocked. Beds were very comfortable. Appreciated the motion sensor night lights. Daily visits from the elk herd were nice. One day, they even bedded down in the yard for several hours. We appreciated the yummy huckleberry items that were left for us by the property owners. About 10 min. Drive to downtown Gardiner and the north entrance to YNP where there was a magnificent display of a bull elk in rut trying to impress the lady elks. Staying at the ROCKIN Y allowed us to make so many great memories!!

Amazing cabin and hosts!

We loved our 4 night stay! Located 5 minutes from Yellowstones North entrance, which is stunning! The cabin was super clean, everything we needed and then some! We felt cared for immediately with a hand written welcome note and gift:) They think of everything you might need from bear spray to coolers and everything in between we felt the love! Tracy saw that we were grilling and brought over more charcoal in case we were running low. Firewood was re stocked after our first camp fire. We were visited by some elk while grilling , love,love,love this cabin! Do yourself a favor and book this gem!

What a Gem!

Let me start off by saying, if I could give more than 5 stars in all categories, I would. This sweet cottage was perfect for our getaway and Tracy and Yosi provided everything one needs to enjoy the property as well as the area. The home is so comfortable with hotel-quality towels and bedding, plenty of dishes and cookware, comfortable seating both inside and out and luxury touches throughout. The property is perfectly located, just a few miles from town and the entrance to YNP. The cottage was impressively clean and Tracy was quick to respond to all our questions. I cannot say enough good things about this cabin. It is perfect for a couple or a family. I will be recommending it to all my friends. Do not hesitate to book it for your trip to visit Yellowstone and the surrounding area!
