About this property
Electric Peak Cabin in Yellowstone Park
NORTH PARK ENTRANCE AT GARDINER. This Yellowstone Cabin Rental Is On Private Acreage Five Miles From The Park's North Gate with the Best Wildlife Watching And Cutthroat Trout Fishing!
Charming cabin built in 2009 with two bedrooms that sleeps 5 located just five minutes from Yellowstone Park's North Entrance on several acres of private property. Perfect for travelers who want easy access to the famous Northern Range and Lamar Valley with its bison, elk, deer, wolves, bears, AND fishing for world-famous Yellowstone cutthroat trout!
This beautiful cabin is unlike all other vacation rental properties in the area. Lying in an extremely private location just above Highway 89 north of Gardiner, Montana, and the Roosevelt Arch, the cabin is easily accessed by a well-maintained, short, 300 yard-long Private Drive.
This setting provides you with total solitude and isolation from any hustle and bustle of the busy roadways leading to/from the park. However, at the same time, when needed, you are just minutes away from restaurants, the market, and shops in Gardiner or a bit further away in Livingston and Bozeman.
Built on a log frame, this cabin has all modern amenities yet has a great amount of rustic appeal including beautiful hardwood floors. It has enormous windows giving you unmatched views of Yellowstone's Electric Peak, Devil's Slide, Dome Mountain, and many other spectacular geological features. Wildlife abound here and deer, elk, pronghorn antelope, bighorn sheep, or bison are seen on the meadows and mountain slopes near the cabin. Often during the spring and fall, they are standing right in the cabin's yard. No-where else in the northern Rockies will you find wildlife this abundant and close in a natural setting.
Horses graze nearby, and the Yellowstone River, home to world-class trout fishing, leaves the park and passes just a few hundred yards below you.
There are many access sites to the Yellowstone River very near to the cabin, one within easy walking distance (that is a very great fishing spot...just ask our boys!).
Being near Gardiner, our cabin is at the home of the Yellowstone Forever, a long-standing educational institute offering numerous courses in the park. The Electric Peak Cabin is a perfect place to stay when visiting and attending these courses.

The cabin was clean, had everything stocked, and it was close to to entrance of Yellowstone where we adventured to everyday. The hosts were excellent in communication, the check in, check out was simple and easy. The price is affordable for a family. Beds were comfortable. We recommend this to anyone. Thank you for sharing your place with us.
Electric Peak Cabin is exactly as described. The view from the cabin is amazing. The horses are lovely and a pleasure to see everyday. The cabin was clean, the bed’s comfy and everything you need to make your stay welcoming is available. Todd is responsive and friendly. The cabin is close to town and Yellowstone’s North entrance. We had an amazing time at Yellowstone and the cabin warmly welcomed us upon returning.
The views were amazing. I loved the picture windows in the front. The space was everything we were looking for. Pretty secluded, no signal (wifi available if we wanted) We went in mid march so we had sunshine as well as snow. Note that much of Yellowstone is not accessible from the nearest entrance to this cabin. Todd was great, stopped by on his way out to say hi. We just truly enjoyed this stay all around. We plan to return
Property was amazing. Tobb was a very friendly and accommodating host. The view and animal life in close proximity is unbeatable. When we return to Yellowstone, we will definitely be staying here again!
Loved our stay at Electric Peak cabin! It was peaceful and relaxing yet close to Gardiner and Yellowstone. We enjoyed watching the elk from the cabin and hearing them in the morning.
Our family had a great stay at the cabin! Incredible location and we particularly enjoyed watching the elk, deer and other wildlife right out the window!
Cabin is beautiful, very clean, and it is very private. Views from cabin are amazing. We actually had some Elk right outside our door. It was awesome. Conveniently located, just minutes from town and the north entrance if Yellowstone.
This was a great place to stay for our trip to Yellowstone National Park! It was close to the park, very clean and well stocked. I highly recommend this cabin!
Todd was a great host. Even when I made a mistake (he communicated clearly, I missed something) he was gracious and understanding. Excellent location and set up for our Yellowstone trip, very clean.
We loved the cabin. The front porch was a great place to watch the sun set over the mountains, look for wildlife, or have our morning coffee. Todd stopped by while we were arriving and gave us lots of helpful advice. The location was perfect, only 5 minutes from Garndiner and the north gate of Yellowstone. We also enjoyed a trip to the hot springs just 3 miles down the road.
Wonderful stay. The property was just what we were looking for. Todd was easy to work with and checked in to make sure everything was okay. Cabin was close to the park and had gorgeous views.
We were greeted by a herd of Elk when we arrived and enjoyed watching them all evening from the front porch. The views are amazing and the cabin was very c
