Cozy and Quiet Apt Style Cabin on the Yellowstone River

PARK PLACE is a tranquil spot for those looking for a home away from home while in Yellowstone Park. We offer a cozy space excellently located up from the Yellowstone River. Here you can rest after your daily adventures in our National Park and forests.

Our home has the feel of a cabin in the mountains but with the comforts of the city. We are located within walking distance from downtown Gardiner. The sleeping area is located upstairs with a balcony that opens to lovely views of the mountains. You will love the sound of the river and relaxing out there after a day of hiking or exploring the Yellowstone wonders. The main living area is downstairs (which does include the only bathroom in the rental). There is a small couch and space for eating.

Those who love fly fishing are coming to the right place. There is easy access to the Yellowstone River just down the road from our house. Park's Fly Shop is also down the street where they can give you ample information on what flies to be using and what other areas to check out.

Depending on the time of year, you might encounter visitors outside your front door such as elk, deer or bison. Bald Eagles and ospreys are often present as well. We are sure you will love staying with us as much as we enjoy living here.

  • We visited this location but ideally needed to be there in the afternoon as the sun was on the "wrong" side of the arch. I used a wide lens to capture the arch and didn't attempt to correct the distortion as I felt it added to the picture (for me anyway). This was a fantastic cozy cabin just steps from the north entrance to Yellowstone. We were surrounded by beautiful scenery, and elk wandered regularly through the parking lot out front. It was a marvelous base for our adventures on the north side of the park.

Cabin on the River

This cabin was lovely. Had everything you need. Close to Yellowstone and you can walk to town. Very clean and neighbors very helpful and friendly. Bonus was elks walk the streets in town. Definitely would stay here again. Owners very nice and responsive

Nice place

We enjoyed our stay. Place had a great downtown location. Views were not as great as the pictures made it seem, but the location more than made up for it. Would stay again when I'm the area.

Overall, I liked this place and I liked the location of it in town. The staircase was a bit tricky and there weren’t laundry facilities. So that’s the reason that I would give it four stars instead of five.

Perfect cabin in the little town of Gardiner

You’ll enjoy your stay immensely. So close to the best food in Gardiner! The stairs require careful steps, but it’s all part of the fun and experience.

Great home

This was a perfect location and a great place to stay. It had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed eating on the 2nd floor balcony overlooking the river. We walked to restaurants and souvenir shops. The host was fantastic. He was readily available and kept in contact with us.

Cozy Cabin on the River

We selected this property for our visit to the Gardiner area in October for a wedding. We absolutely loved the property, which was on a quiet street next to the river, and nearby the small town's main dining and shopping area. The cabin was clean and comfortable, and the hosts kind and responsive. As soon as we left, we talked about booking another stay.

We had a great time being on the north entrance to Yellowstone Park. We also took a day trip to beautiful Big Sky resort. The local people in Gardiner were very friendly and the elk was a sight to behold outside our front door. The cabin was very clean and cozy. We would go back in a heart beat. David was a great host!

Just Fabulous!!

The property was absolutely amazing! It was so cute, had everything you needed, great views, and the BEST location. The house was within walking distance of the northern entrance to Yellowstone. Gardiner is was the most quaint town with anything you wanted. David was a fantastic host and quick to respond if we had any questions. Would highly recommend the house to anymore looking for a place in Gardiner.

Close to town and NP entrance, so convenient!

We loved the deck off the bedroom- a lovely place for coffee. A little tough to navigate to the only bathroom down the spiral staircase at night. 😜. It was a warm streak when we arrived and the property was quite warm. Dan brought us fan there is no air conditioning. Lots of lovely reading material and everything worked out great once we got settled!

Relaxing in Montana/Yellowstone

Overall pleased. Pictures on VRBO are a little misleading. Yellowstone River is not visible from property. Coin laundry, I thought that meant laundry in property, just have to pay for it (no laundry machine). No AC (I missed this in the amenities). First 2 evenings were very warm up in the loft. Otherwise very clean, and all other necessities were available.

Excellent vacation spot! Cozy, relaxing, hearing the river in the background. Short distance to Yellowstone park, and a little hometown to stay in! A memorable vacation for sure. The host is very attentive and the location was perfect for our anniversary getaway!

Great location!

This was a great home base for visiting Yellowstone. It was also within walking distance of everything in Gardiner, which is a fun little town with friendly people. Bill and Clay were helpful and the books available were helpful as well. I had a wonderful time and Park Place was a nice place to stay.
