"We booked the cabin to be down the street from family. WOW-this was an A+ visit! Mark has thought of everything. We kayaked, walked on the dock, walked to Docks Restaurant (about 1/10 of a mile) snorkeled near the shore and enjoyed the hot tub. The wildlife is amazing and you will see a variety of birds, deer, eagles and geese. We were here for Persieds meteor shower AND the Northern lights-absolutely amazing. "We stayed only two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The apartment was roomy, very clean and so comfortable. We could access the retreat center to enjoy the bakery cafe, the common room and the breakfast dining room. We walked the trails, walked to the play ground, and art store. We traveled the short distance to Fayette State Park and took in the history of the area and beauty of Lake Michigan. I hope we can visit again!"
