"Absolutely friendly "

"Excellent location. Staff was fine. The one thing we thought was a minor irritant was the tufted pillowcases and linens. Some people may like that they are different but we just found them strange feeling, especially on the pillows. The one thing that we did not like was the way they ran the breakfast buffet. Rather than letting you choose your table as is the case at every hotel breakfast we enjoyed over 5 weeks in Europe and many hotels, they had you assigned to a table. We travelled with another couple and they were downstairs a few minutes before us and were shown to one table and when we came we were shown to a table of strangers. We had them put us with our friends but it seemed that it messed up their system. They do cater mostly to bus tours but if someone chooses the buffet, maybe they should ask when registering about preferences or group travel. Otherwise, we would happily stay here again. "
