Game Barn Retreat | Rain-Proof Fun for Groups

Welcome to Pathfinder Vacations Wheelchair Accessible Family Retreat in Fischer TX. Nestled on a serene 1-acre property this ranch style 4-bedroom, 2-shower room house is an inviting retreat & the perfect destination for families or groups seeking a peaceful getaway. Through the year this home is also the training base for World Champion WCMX athlete Tomas Woods, chosen for its private & calm environment, whilst being close to everything we need.

Upon arrival, the electric gate with a convenient keypad entry system grants you access to the enclosed grounds. Please note that you'll need to exit your vehicle to open the gate upon entry. The property is equipped with discreet, non-monitored security cameras on all four corners, overlooking the yard and garden areas only, to enhance the safety and security of your stay.

After parking, you'll discover a covered porch, inviting you to unwind in the comfortable chairs and coffee table beside the front door (36" width), which opens directly into the open-plan living, dining, and kitchen space—truly the heart of the home. Here, you’ll find a 65" Roku smart TV, a large, cosy sofa, a dining table that seats eight, and a fully equipped kitchen. The space also provides direct access to the rear covered porch, furnished with additional comfortable seating, a coffee table, and outdoor games like Cornhole and Giant Jenga.

On the left side of the main living area, you’ll find:
The master suite at the rear offers direct access to the porch and is designed for both comfort and luxury. This spacious bedroom features a king bed dressed in sumptuous bamboo sheets, nightstands with lamps and charging ports for your devices, and a Roku smart TV. A walk-in closet with high and low rails provides ample storage space. The suite also includes a full-length mirror, perfect for ensuring you're dressed to impress, and a stylish vanity table with a lit mirror and wireless charging station, ideal for getting ready in comfort and style.

The private master suite bathroom includes his and hers sinks surrounded by built-in drawers, additional closet space, a toilet room, and a large walk-in shower. Please note the shower is a step in shower.

The second bedroom, featuring two Twin XL beds, a nightstand with a selection of games, and a double hanging rail.

Separating these two rooms is the laundry room, equipped with a large-capacity washer and dryer, ironing board, iron, steamer, and a variety of cleaning supplies—ideal for tackling any unexpected spills. Please note the laundry room is not wheelchair accessible

On the right side of the main living room, behind the barn doors, you’ll find:

Two Queen rooms, separated by the shared bathroom (32" width doorway and step in shower).

Queen Room 1, located at the rear of the property, offers direct access to the porch, a Queen bed with bamboo sheets, nightstands with lamps and charging ports, a Roku smart TV, and a closet.

Queen Room 2, at the front of the property, also features a Queen bed with bamboo sheets, nightstands with lamps and charging ports, a Roku smart TV, and a closet, as well as a desk and comfortable office chair—perfect for those who may need to catch up on work.

Outside:

The property occupies a corner lot, with the house positioned to maximize the level access space at the front for greenery and parking. There’s a good-sized area to the side of the property, while the rear lot, with its trees and flat area, is perfect for the fire pit. A fenced garden at the rear of the house offers a secure space to relax on the porch while enjoying the view.

The wildlife enjoy our yard we regularly have deer and grey foxes in the garden. May or June we often have a Fawn born on our land and the foxes are most active in September to November although both are most active during the night if you're an early riser you may well see them.

Accessibility:
Designed as a single-story retreat, this home offers easy accessibility. It includes features that ensure comfort for individuals with mobility challenges. For added convenience, there’s a wheelchair platform in the parking area, a step-free entrance (36" width), and a shower chair available upon request. We recognize that each guest’s needs are unique, so please reach out to us directly for specific information to ensure this property meets your requirements. Note that you will need to exit your vehicle to open the gate, the laundry room is not wheelchair accessible and both showers are step in enclosures.

Location:

In the Hill Country, wild deer roam freely. Please drive carefully, especially in the evening, as they may cross the road unexpectedly. Deer frequently visit the property, often during the early morning hours. In May and June, fawns are born; we leave the back garden gate open to prevent them from becoming trapped, as they cannot jump high. If you spot one, please keep your distance to avoid frightening them.
