What a lovely home. The area is a perfect location with all of the amenities.We were able to unwind while the wind and thunderstorms made the beaches Red Flagged! Great Property and Hosts! We hope to go back!

Yolanda provides all information needed for your stay days prior to arriving. Easy access to the beach with crosswalk at the intersection of the propery. WalMart across the street. Circle K on the other side of the fence. Direct pool access directly outside the back door.

Great stay for a family of 6

This was our first time staying closer to town and it was great. The location is perfect. From door to sand is about a 5 minute walk. Having the pool right outside the back door was great. Never had any problem finding a parking spot close to the condo and loved that it is on the 1st floor. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place, great location!

Yolanda was a great host! Her communication ahead of time made the check in process so smooth and for a family with young kids that’s a huge plus! Initially we were bummed to be on the first floor(her other property booked up), but it turned out to be the best thing! The kids could just run out from the patio to play on the grass, easy walk to the pool (and back for snacks and bathroom breaks). The office for check in was open on Sunday to my surprise and so helpful to get us set up with parking and pool passes. The location to the beach, Walmart and easy access to local restaurants and attractions was fantastic and made adventures with kiddos easier. The beach cart provided in the condo was a life saver for us! Thank you for a great place for our family to vacation we had a wonderful time and this clean, comfy condo helped make it so! Highly recommend, I so appreciate a great place with prime access and a host who is so easy to work with it truly made the experience a great one!

Off-season beach time

Wonderful Property

We have stayed in this condo complex before but this property was perfect for us. Loved the location and that it faced the pool. Well appointed with everything you need. Will definitely look up this place again when we vacation in Galveston.

1st time in Texas

The condo was great. Roomy and clean. Everything we needed was there. We would definitely stay here again. Only disappointment was that the heated pool and spa were cold.

Galveston short stay

Our family group of six had a wonderful stay at Doc’s Quarters.Firstly, the condo and property were well-appointed with amenities and the two pools available were beautiful. Usually heated, during our stay the pool heaters were broken so the pool was too cold for swimming. But we still admired its lovely condition and a short walk across the street took us to the wild ocean. The kids had a blast playing in the water and although we didn’t use the many water toys available at the condo, we were very excited to have them available for our use. Just so many excellent touches and we happily and easily took out our trash and started some towels. Walmart next door was also very helpful and likely best for longer visitors. We would absolutely stay again. Thank

Spring Break

The property was great. The condo was cleaned and very well stocked! If you did happen to forget something Super Walmart is literally across the street which came in handy. The beach across the street is so much nicer than the beach down the road by the pier. The pool area is wonderful wish that the heated pool was actually heated but that is not the owners fault. The one downside is that you do have to drive to most restaurants not a lot around in the walking distance of the condo. For us driving was not an issue because traffic was very light but I could see during the summer months the traffic congestion would be an issue. Overall I would stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend it to anyone. For anyone that says their are a lot of rules there are not anymore rules that this owner asks for that I have not been asked for at other rentals. We were given all pertinent codes and information well in advance of showing up. Great job Yolanda!

Right close to the beach

Nice location for beach and some tourist attractions. Across the island for Old Town and the docks. <15 minute drive>. Nice apartment, could use better inside lighting, no grab handles in shower, parking ok ( but you do have to pay extra for self parking, so add that in). Lots of coffee filters! Big box store across the street if you need anything, liquor store near. Rainy and high wind our whole stay so we didn't get to go to the beach or pools.

Excellent!

This property was exactly what the listing showed. We loved the easy access to the condo & easy access to the pools. It’s also a short walk to the beach and near a light to safely cross over to the beach with kids. The day bed with trundle in the living room was perfect for our older kids. I would absolutely choose this condo again in the future. The only negative was that the pool closes at 9 every night. It would have been nice if it were open later on the weekends at least. I do understand that the owners have no control over that part though.

Nice Property

We enjoyed our stay. House was clean and well supplied. The weather was awful so didn't go to the beach but the kids did go into the pool. The water is too cold for me. The only surprise, that I missed until my check in instructions were sent (and to be honest they may be on the listing) was the $50.00 charge per car to park. This is the first time I have dealt with something like this. It wouldn't prohibit from staying there again - now that I know!

Beach Condo

The condo overall was very nice inside and very clean. Some of the kitchen utensils could use an update. I was lead to believe this condo was right near Pleasure Pier in Galveston, but it’s a couple of miles away. It is right across the street from the beach, which was an easy walk. There were several people around the property asking for gate codes and people that would just follow you through the entry gate in your vehicle which did not make us feel the safest and most secure. Overall, a nice property.

Quick Beach Trip

We were down in Galveston for a beach soccer tournament and had an extra day for family time. Doc’s place was fabulous! Yolanda is a super host. She thinks of little necessities that you forget about … there were coffee filters, hand soaps at all of the sinks, extra toilet paper if you are just there for a short trip, a couple of trash can liners - these little touches were so nice bc all of the other places we have ever stayed we had to buy all of those things no matter how long the stay. We had an issue with the microwave and she was so responsive and had it replaced within 24 hours. She checked on us and checked on how we did in our tournament. I can’t wait to come back when we can classy longer and enjoy their beautiful property with the perfect pools and super close proximity to the beach! It was beautiful and welcoming and we couldn’t have asked for a better place or a better host!
