Perfect property, perfect location for the ultimate Galveston small family and couple’s getaway. Completely updated, your beautiful upscale contemporary and private 1-bedroom condo is conveniently located on the 2nd floor with stunning views, near the Pleasure Pier, and a two-minute walk to the beach, and many other popular destinations.
The private entry opens into your vacation home in a very spacious yet cozy atmosphere with accents and décor that will relax your senses with soft beach inspired pastel colors and themes. The seating area allows for both casual conversations and to comfortably watch a movie on the TV. The living room couch pulls out to provide a queen-sized sleeping accommodation if needed. The stocked kitchen features stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, utensils and everything you need to serve up refreshments, snacks, appetizers or make a stovetop home cooked meal. The bathroom features a tiled built-in-shower with a cubby for storage. A private spacious bedroom boasts a comfortable queen-sized bed and open closet. Enjoy a restful night sleep so you can be ready for the next adventure or relaxing day you spend on the island.
The “By the Pier House” has a spacious shared porch that offers perfect vantage points overlooking Seawall Boulevard, parades down Rosenberg and sunrises over the Gulf of Mexico. The community back patio offers a spacious covered pergola with a table and seating for casual dining and relaxing conversations to enjoy the company of friends and family into the evening.
This private condo has a private entrance that is located on the historic Rosenberg Street that connects Galveston’s historic downtown to Seawall Boulevard. It is the first house on the right side of 25th Street / Rosenberg Street leaving the Historic Pleasure Pier and a short walk to the Galveston Duck Tours, many popular restaurants, shops, and attractions in all directions. The Galveston Island Trolley (when it reopens in 2021) has a pickup spot that is on 25th and Seawall which is approximately a 1-minute walk from the front steps of the house.

This property is in the absolute best place if your destination is near Pleasure Pier. You do get to park on the street with a parking pass near the building. There are a lot of steps to go up with your luggage - so that can be challenging if you are carrying bigger or heavier items (we had a large suitcase and a large cooler, among everything else.) There is no dishwasher, so you will have to do dishes by hand before leaving. The place is small but it worked for us. My children said the pull out couch was not that comfortable. The only other thing I can say that would have been nice to have - there were not enough pillows and my children didn’t have any blankets for the pull out couch. They did have clean sheets though. But one blanket would have been nice. Overall, I would recommend staying there as it was prime location but place might be better suited for 2 people instead. The master bedroom was bigger and the bed was good.
