Enjoy beach, ocean, and Gulf views from this sparkling, top-floor condo as well as immediate access to a host of on-site resort amenities including an outdoor pool, heated indoor pool, lazy river, two hot tubs, and a fitness center. Head out and explore the area where you’ll discover a number of popular local attractions including Magic Carpet Golf, Moody Gardens, the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, and the Grand 1894 Opera House, all within a few miles of your door. In addition, you will enjoy easy access to the nearest beach.

Inside your condo, discover a sunlit great room with floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors as well as a well-equipped, island kitchen with counter seating, two tables for mealtimes or rainy day board games, and a central living area with twin sofas and a smart TV. This condo also features a den with an additional smart TV plus four comfortable bedrooms including one kid-friendly bedroom with a cable-equipped TV and 2 twin beds and three other rooms with en suite baths. The bedrooms have automatic risers for additional comfort and convenience.

Outside on your two furnished balconies, dine al fresco or just relax and take in the ocean view with your morning coffee or evening glass of wine.

Great location for a getaway to Galveston

Huge condo with beautiful views, direct beach access, a full array of amenities on the campus. Will definitely rent again when the opportunity arises.

Weekend away

Had a great weekend away filled with fun for every age! Our 5 year olds loved the pools and the game rooms and the parents/grandparents loved relaxing on the balcony or admiring the views from the living room. Truly everything for everyone!

Peaceful Stay

We visited with my husband, kids 6 and 8, and my parents. The unit is massive and tasteful furnished. So many things to do on site including an indoor pool (outdoor was too cold), arcade with free games, and a movie theater you could reserve. I would have been happy just staying in the condo and sipping wine on the patio though. It had a gorgeous view and is on the top floor.

The best unit so far!

This is the 4th time we visited Diamond Beach Resort. This unit is the best so far. Having a 4th bedroom and the game area are perfect with young kids. The furniture and fixtures of the unit are modern. The facilities of the resort are very nice and well maintained. Highly recommended!

The description of location is exact, very nice place. 2nd bathroom shower head needed to be fixed, water was spraying out the top. Kitchen was not equipped with coffee or any seasons, sugar, salt or pepper. Very nice space and clean.

This is a great place for family. The unit was spacious for my family of 5 and my parents. The staff is very friendly. The outdoor pool was closed while we were there and the mosquitos from the swamp on the volleyball court made it difficult to enjoy the lazy river but everything else was great. Kids also loved the game room. 10am check out was earlier than our friends in another unit and our unit was not ready at 4pm check in because it was still being cleaned, but only minor inconveniences. Hopefully both elevators are working when we return.

nicer than reasonably expected

This was an exceptionally nice rental – great room furniture exceeds any reasonable expectation for a beach rental. The layout was a tad odd – all four bedrooms are interior, with no windows or views. That worked just fine for us, as we went to bed when we were ready to go to sleep and the great room and wonderful balcony, had all the more space due to this design. Great TVs (though with odd voice directed remotes.) nice kids play area, plenty of dining space inside and out electrically raised heads on most of the beds Overall, we give this a 9 out of 10.

Perfect October Week at the Beach

We have rented a beach house in Galveston every October for ten years. This year after staying at Diamond Beach in Dec for the weekend we decided to try it for our week in October also. I’m not sure we will ever go back to renting a house. There are so many extra amenities available. The exercise room, spa, lazy river and pool in addition to the beach (& game & play rooms for kids) are really nice. The ocean views especially on the 7th floor are incredible. Our condo was spacious, the beds comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and it is so close in to restaurants and shopping. It was close to perfect.

Pretty as a Picture

Really the pics don't do justice to how pretty this place is! Wonderful views, and the property was awesome. Wish I was still in that lazy river. Walk to the ocean. Great place for our family trip. We had 8 here and 3 family member next door. Nice memories. Only thing was the coffee pot did not work so I had to go buy one. No big deal, but they had one of those single cup Kurics which would not have worked for our bunch. We have coffee drinkers in the family.

Spacious, Elegant, Gorgeous Views

When you are on a trip, comfortable beds and furniture is a must. This lovely, living space has it. The beds offered remote controls as well as the recliners. The outdoor couches are very comfortable for enjoying the incredible views or relaxing with a book. With views from the top floor, words cannot describe the lighting over the ocean in the evenings or the incredible experience of watching a storm roll in. Our family ages ranged from 12 months to 65 years. We appreciated the walk-in showers for the adults and the large tubs for the babies. What an elegant space with plenty of seating for multiple families. Lastly, we were never disturbed by neighbors staying in adjacent apartments. The location was quiet and a great stress release. The only downside was the large TV in the living room did not work. We did have one day with a large thunderstorm heading our way and would like to have watched a local channel from the living room. Overall, we felt spoiled with this fabulous living space.

Great experience but who is the property manager?

Property is exactly as the photos suggest—two awesome outdoor pools, including the lazy river. Great location next to a sandy beach area for easy access to the Gulf. Cleanliness of property and condo is five star. I definitely recommend to anyone coming to Galveston. However, there is a big confusion about who is the property manager of the condo—VRBO or Vacasa? VRBO likes to label certain properties as “ Super Host” properties because the owner carefully manages the property. This condo has has an absentee owner who uses Vacasa, located in Oregon, which refuses to answer any questions about the inside of the condo. Vacasa says renters must contact VRBO regarding any questions or deficiencies inside the condo unit. So who is really in charge of managing the property? This is a serious disconnect for renters. If renters have a problem, who do they contact?????

Abolutely FABULOUS

This unit is incredible. The view is amazing! There are two patios for you to enjoy. One with comfortable seating and one with a farm table for enjoying dining. The kitchen is stocked and ready for cooking. There was no expense spared for the furniture. It's all cozy and comfortable, even has two remote control rocking chairs. The beds are comfortable and have remotes to lift your head to watch TV or read. Each room has its own bathroom for privacy. THE TUBS in two of the bathrooms are large enough to float in. The unit is very clean and even has a separate area for kids to play and watch tv. Check in was super easy. We didn't utilize the pool area, as it was a little cool. However, there is an indoor heated pool and hot tub. We were surprised with all the high-end amenities that the bathroom towel were small and cheap and did not absorb at all. However, that wasn't a huge deal. We still loved our stay and enjoyed ourselves.

Very dirty

The unit was beautifully decorated and had an awesome view. Upon arrival our unit was very dirty. Look like whoever cleaned it was in a rush. Appliances and cabinets have food all over them. Glass table had smears on it. Mirrors had handprints, that look like from a child. Easter grass and Sprinkles all over the floors and back porch had chocolate frosting on the table and sprinkles. Ants were all over the back porches, because it had not been cleaned up. Found Easter grass in a couple of the beds and worst of all, one of the beds had crushed Cheez-Its, long black hairs, and sprinkles in the bed. Look like they had just made the beds but did not change the sheets. Very disgusting and very disappointing. We called management they sent somebody out. The girl took a few pictures wipe down the kitchen and the dining room table, then left. We had to wash our own sheets that first night. It was A beautiful Propert , but would not stay there again.

Amazing Beach Location

This was our family's first time staying at Diamond Beach Condos, and we were not disappointed! Condo 714 is top floor facing the pool and beach. This four bedroom/four bathroom condo was perfect for our family. There are two bedrooms on each side of the living area and this gave great privacy for adults and kiddos. Two large balconies allow for outdoor living/dinning and were well used even in the August heat. The entire place is very modern and updated. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils/pots/pans/etc. Keurig for coffee was missing a piece to hold the pods but other than that we had everything we needed. Washer and dryer are new and easy to use. The free standing bathroom has a nice tub if you need it. There are no beach toys/towels/chairs in this unit so be sure to pack your own. The primary bedroom does not have a closet but there is an armoire of drawers in the bath/shower area and a dresser near the bed. Each bedroom has it's own TV which was nice for kiddos in the evening. The building has a lot of nice amenities but not all are available all the time. For instance the swim up bar in the lazy river was only open Fri/Sat/Sun. Also, the waterslide is out of service and seems to have been for some time. The game room was okay but some of the machines weren't working 100%. Staff was very helpful at check-in and throughout the stay. There are carts available near the first floor elevators that made load in/out very easy. Overall amazing and we will be back!

Beautiful condo. Very comfortable furnishings, especially balcony. Spectacular view from living room and kitchen. Location in quiet area of the beach but close to the Seawall.Would suggest better quality toilet paper and paper towels. Tissues in each bathroom would have been helpful.
