This is an amazing and historic townhouse duplex with living, dining, kitchen, 1/2 bath down, and 2 bedrooms, and one bath up. Off street driveway and garage parking! It is located in the center of the City, just 6 short blocks to the Seawall, the beach, bike rentals; and 11 walking blocks to The Strand Historical District with boutiques, gift shops, restaurants, attractions and night life. Directly across the street is the Bryan Museum, which has one of the largest collections of historical artifacts relating to Texas and hosts many fun and informative events.

Awesome place to stay!

We arrived, and everything was just as Diane described. Beautiful home, quiet neighborhood. Had a garage, which was really nice. Home was close to everywhere we wanted to go. We will definitely stay again when we are in Galveston.

Perfect and Cozy

Really enjoyed this house. Stayed one night as we were leaving on a cruise. Very clean, everything we needed was available. The cookies left was an added bonus that my daughter loved! This will be our new go to place to stay when visiting Galveston for short or long stays.

Stop on way to cruise

It was the perfect house for us. Centrally located to food...stores...and museums. We took an extra day and enjoyed the town before we heade out on the cruise. The property was just the right size for 4 of us.

Night before cruise

We absolutely loved the place and the host was amazing. We were left a brand new box of delicious cookies to enjoy as a gift for staying and also a cute ornament to put sand and shells in! The cottage itself was very clean and cozy! Check in and out was super easy and having a garage to park your car in was a plus as well. Location was perfect, especially for cruisers. Took less than ten minutes to get to the port! It was a great experience for sure, and I 10/10 would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

We came to Galveston to go to the Christmas Wish show at Moody gardens and festival of lights for my mom's 82nd birthday! The house was the perfect size for the three of us.. and very clean.

This is a cute little duplex. Diane pays close attention to detail down to the labels indicating which light switch turns on which lights. Its centrally located and easy to find and get around the island.

Great spot and a great price

We enjoyed our stay at The Cottage; all of the information was sent to me a couple of days before so it was very easy to get into the house. It was very clean, there were cookies waiting for us 🍪 and cold bottled water in the fridge. Everything you might need was available, even chairs, towels and water toys, games, and toys. It’s a great place to stay in the great city of Galveston!

Very quaint

We booked the property the night before our Royal Caribbean Cruise. It was a nice property that had everything we needed. It was close to the beach. Our kids loved that the owner left Easter cookies for them. Will stay again if we return to Galveston.
