We had a GREAT Time. Location was amazing. Good Fishing.

Our stay was wonderful. We all loved the fishing and the covered area for playing games outside. Very easy to get to and store a short distance away. We'll be back!!!

Great Fishing Location

If you are looking for a great fishing location, this is it. This home is on the bay, not a channel. We saw dolphins, the grandkids caught lots of crabs that were clean and beautiful as well as fish. We couldn't figure out the key and owner called me right away. Housekeeper even came on a holiday to see if I needed more sheets and towels. Very open communication with owner. Best part of this house is the space all to itself with bottom area to get together for fishing or enjoying the breeze and animal watching.

Friends fishing trip 2022

The location is amazing for our planned fishing trip. We caught fish all weekend. Had small issue with outside night fishing lights and some house keeping, but the problem was fixed next day. I would definitely stay here again. Here are talking about making this an annual friends trips!!! Thanks for everything.

Inside the house

The location and view were very pleasant. While the inside the house, it was fairly old and dusty. Both of the stoves wouldn’t function property. The floors were fairly dusty as well. The showers and sinks were not clean and had stains. Also, on the top bunk on the upper floor, the AC detached. Lastly, the furniture were also very old.

Excellent bay house for large families or groups!

First and foremost our property manager was extremely communicable and helpful the whole experience. This home has 12 beds total! Two private rooms (1 with king and 1 with queen) and two bunk rooms (1 with 6 beds and one with 4 beds)! 3 full bathrooms with showers. Kitchen and pantry are stocked with everything you will need to cook. Bring your food, ziplocks, paper products and plastic utensils and you’re set! Don’t forgot to check out the storage room downstairs which has the grill, some charcoal (bring your own and a grill brush and spatula or tongs) plenty of chairs, buckets, crab nets (we left a few), beach toys for kids, etc. Lights for the downstairs deck (where hammocks are) can be turned on from inside storage closet. Fishing lights are upstairs in living room near the blinds. Two fish cleaning stations one with fresh water. This house is truly surrounded by water on three sides. We hit up the canal side the most and in one day we’re able to get 14 flounder fishing the bottom with live shrimp and minnows. Excellent accommodations. Tv and cable worked great. Very breezy under the deck and while you’re fishing which is going to be great during warm weather months. We would love to come and stay again! Thank you from the Dupre’s - Leander, TX

Poor Maintenance and Cleanliness

Hi..I'm Hamish Dcunha, we stayed in this property for 2 days (07/15 and 07/16/22) with 3 other families. I'm sorry to say that we had some inconveniences in the house, and found so many things in the house with no maintenance done, unavailable or not safe to use. Me and the other families with me felt that we paid a good amount of money for the stay, but it was not at all worth the amount of money we spent. The real situation inside the house was not the same as the Vrbo property listing, and as per our expectation. The Upstairs was too hot, AC was not working from the 1st night onwards, and when we reported, the tech came and replaced the part and fixed it on the second day. Attached are some pictures for your attention. The day sleeper room's door is stuck, cannot open. Molds around AC vents, rust on all sinks. Very poor cooking range and all outdated appliances. Toilet rolls were not enough (only a total of 5)for all 3 bathrooms. The location, surroundings and the outside of the house is good. Your attention in this regard is highly appreciated. Recent Stay

The location of the property cannot be beat, its sits at the end of a peninsula which is perfect for fishing and crabbing with plenty of privacy. However, this house should be listed as a fishing camp not a VBRO just so you know what you are getting into. It is extremely poorly managed and upkept. There is mold coming out of the vents, and the entire house was covered in dust. Multiple lights both inside and out were out or inoperable. There was a lamp in the closet made of glass we went to use but it was broken and just jagged glass. The kitchen is severely outdated. There were only 5 forks, the kitchen stove says it is 2 years old which there is no way. One burner did not work, one was so uneven it made cooking very hard as everything went to one side. There were very few pots and pans to utilize, and all looked old and nasty. At night when the lights went off is when all the roaches came out, need pest control. The showers are not hot they are cool. The couch in the living room is pathetic. Its been so broken and horribly repaired that it forms a V in the back and is a tripping hazard. They shoved blankets under the cushions to try and prop up to make it look normal but you still fall into the broken couch and it is hard to get out of. The DVD player did not work either in the living room. Outside faucet didn't have a handle to turn on, grill was full of ash and falling apart, no propane tank as advertised. So little money put back into the house would improve it.

JACOBS' FISHING WEEKEND

We had a great weekend. This house is a great location. House needs some updating. Shower between the two bedrooms on the main floor does not work; all the alliumin patio doors acceot the main entry door needs to be replaced. Most of the sliding patio doors are very difficult to open which could be an issue in case of an emergency; need lights on the outside stairs on the west side of the house; the outside pier flights need to be replaced as they are Not fishing lights and do not attract the fish at night and finally, the kitchen needs adequate bowls for storage and use in coking. I was advised back in April of 2025 the house was being updated within 60 days bit it appears ut dud not happen as this is July 26, 2025. The owner of the property csme by on yesterday and introduced herself. She was very nice.

Best sunset view and great fishing

Dishwasher is rusted , need to replace it! 4 knobs missing on one of the dresser, need to replace those old dresser! Like the new leather sofa ! 4 porch lights , only one worked! Need to update some floor and curtains! Location is great!! A/C worked great, we enjoyed the stay.

View of bay is great, house in need of repairs. Circa 1980’s. Deck is rotted, bathroom door delaminated, bathroom ceilings moisture damage, kitchen counter damaged, dock section not level, buckled walls in bathroom, 1 toilet wouldn’t flush, broken fishing rod holders, tv remote corroded batteries,broken rack in refrigerator,poorly maintained home, not worth the price

Fun in the sun filled weekend!

We had a wonderful time with family this weekend! The location and sunset can’t be beat. We fished all weekend and spent the majority of our time outside. The a/c kept the house plenty cold in August, which was such a nice relief. We had 4 families with kids ranging from 14 to 5, and there was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. Thank you for a fun weekend rental!

Great view

The wiews and sunsets were spectacular. The house is a little dated but we were outside most of the time. Sleeping at night was nice because the AC kept the house cold!! Property manager responded promptly to messages & I left my phone behind and they went the extra mile to overnight it to me!! Would definitely stay here again.

Secluded, but still so close

As we drove up we were at aww at the beautiful property that was secluded on the point. No one right up next to us. As we get out, we see the huge patio that goes on for ever, it was just beautiful! My family of mostly guys, love to fish and this was absolutely the best fishing spot. The house was nice but we were outside 90% of the time. We loved it
