Bigger than it looks

Beautiful beach house in a quiet community, we had plenty of room with our group of 7. Pleasantly surprised, the house is bigger than it looks from the pictures and well stocked. Easy check in and great communication, we’d definitely stay again!

The stay was fantastic. The balcony have a fantastic view of the ocean and the cool breeze. Yhe walk to the beach was short and well worth the stay at this location. Overall it was a fantastic experience 👌

This was our 6th summer staying at Just Beachy for our beach week vacay. As always it is a very enjoyable week at a great house. We appreciate that the basic amenities are available so we can start the fun as soon as we arrive. The location on the beach front, the close little grocery store, make everything very accessible. The house has pretty much everything needed for a vacation week, and we always appreciate the bag of “goodies” with paper goods and laundry and dish washer detergent. We noticed the new washer and dryer, very nice! Thank you for sharing your beach house!!

Great overall stay!

Our stay at Just Beachy was awesome. The location was great. Right on the beach and away from the business. Kitchen was well supplied and the host responded to messages quickly. It was clean and comfy and we had a great time staying the week. Plenty of games and movies for a rainy day…but our week was all beach weather!

Relaxing family getaway

My family and I had a wonderful week getaway at Just Beachy. This was our first family trip to the Galveston area. The location of the property was perfect. The house had everything we needed with plenty of space to relax. The kids really enjoyed all the beach toys at the property and being right on the beach.

Just Beachy, just perfect!

This house is a gem. It is exactly as advertised in pictures and in the posting. It's right on the beach and is very cozy. Everything was clean and cute - so many nice little touches. We had a wonderful family trip and I recommend this location without hesitation.

Such a beautiful place located right on the beach. Loved sitting on the deck in the morning enjoying my cup of coffee. Easy access for those long walks on the beach! The place was nicely furnished with everything you could need. Hope we have the opportunity to come back & stay again!

Nice and relaxing

This is a good place for families or small groups of friends. It’s comfortable and has everything needed for your stay. The neighborhood is quiet and the beach is not crowded at all. It’s a little far from the city, which is what we were looking for. It could have been cleaner, but otherwise a nice place.

The house worked perfectly for my nieces' family of 5 over the Thanksgiving Holiday. We used if for the overflow which our house was unable to handle. Well decorated and beach front for a reasonable price.

Heavenly!

Everything about this rental was heavenly! The location and the porch are absolutely perfect! We spent as much time on the front porch as we did on the beach! The shade on the top deck was perfect but during the heat of the day you can still enjoy the view under the house on the nice deck area. These hosts have it all there for you! Fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds extra pillows and blankets, pool chairs and toys and so much out door seating! Everything about our stay was fabulous. This part of the beach is kept pristine by the entire community and there is no driving in front of the house. It could not be any better than this honestly! We will return!

This is our second stay. Great beachfront property. A handrail going down the stairs against the house would be helpful for people with bad knees. The threshold in the back right bedroom has three nails sticking up. An outdoor mounted oscillating fan would be great. Nice place. We plan to return.

Views was great,house needs to be updated a lot of out of date stuff overall the house was ok had trouble trying to get the TVs to connect to the internet. Would Love to have more up to date smart TVs like the other rentals. The walk way to the beach was way to hot to walk on maybe if They would add the wood to walk through would be a plus.

One Week in Galveston

Just Beachy was perfect! The house was perfect size for my fiancé and I and oceanfront like we love it. We love to be able to walk right to the beach without having to load all the beach gear in a car and find public access. The house is about 25-30 minutes away from the historic part of Galveston and 20 mins away from the Seawall which was not bad at all. We would trade the drive for the privacy any day. House was clean, well kept and updated. My fiance loved the house decor. Beds were comfy, kitchen had everything we needed and plenty of space to unwind after a long day of touring and relaxing on the beach. Instructions were clear for check in and out and if there was any need for maintenance. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for an oceanfront rental in the Galveston area!!!

Great location with the perfect view. House is very nicely appointed and has a very well stocked kitchen and with lots of games etc. A bit grungy in places. I decided to leave a day early because the sofa smelled so bad. The weather was turning and I could have had a down day, but the smell was too much so I went home. (like an hr drive). I would give this place 5 stars if they get new sofas and do some renovation in the bathrooms/baseboards and some fresh paint in places.

Just Beachy- A New Home Away From Home

This stay was so relaxing and so needed for our family. We are in our mid-thirties with a 12 and 10 year old and stayed in late March for reference. This house was stocked with everything we needed. Pots and pans, bowls, cups, hair dryers, first aid kits, beach toys, beach chairs, storage space, board games, movies, everything! It’s a fully ready to stay in home instead of a sterile hotel/motel where everything is nailed down. This reminded me of staying at your great aunts house who lives at the beach. We felt taken care of, safe and happy while we were at just beachy. The neighborhood is away from the hustle and bustle which was a major plus for us. You can still drive into town fairly easily but the beaches were calm and full of seashells and wildlife. We may have seen 10 other families while at the beach. Within our first hour at Just Beachy, we requested to add on an additional night and before the first night was over, we booked a short trip in Early June. We throughly enjoyed our time at Just Beachy and will continue to come back year after year. I’m so glad this house was available and I already can’t wait to come back soon!

Great Stay- Beachfront Location Unbeatable

This house fit our needs very well, considering we were vacationing with a baby and a toddler. Plenty of space, easy to keep clean, lots of dishes for us to use for snack times and a safe balcony for them to enjoy the ocean from. Most finishings inside and outside the home are well-loved but functional and clean. It felt more cozy and personal, less like you had to walk around the house on pins and needles afraid to relax in the sterile museum environment. We were definitely able to loosen up and enjoy the AMAZING location of this home. We came to look forward the drive into Galveston proper as a time to crank up the music and just chill, and appreciated the slower pace on this side of the island. Tips: Walk the beach often if you love seashells. Beautiful and big ones washed ashore every day. Wear shoes outside in the yard, there are stickers. I would imagine chemical treatments are a no no to maintain the safe home for critters in the dune area, so I would not expect those to go away or ask for them to be removed. And finally, for the perfect no-fuss beach day order food to-go from the West End Marina Restaurant which is a mile down the road, and bring it back to the house to enjoy with a view of the beach or out on the beach. Everything we had from there was awesome. We took to-go twice and dined in there once. We would stay here again, perhaps even longer than a week.
