The beach house was charming and is located in the ideal neighborhood of Galveston. We had everything we needed with the right amount of space for me and my fiancé, son and his friend.
This house is perfect for a family wanting to experience a beach vacation. We were only a few blocks from the ocean and could walk to several attractions. The house provided a safe, convenient stay. No street parking and fenced in yard was perfect for family traveling with pets!
It was a great beach house. 5 min walk to beach and Pier. Great outdoor deck and off street parking. Enjoyed the open floor living kitchen area. Over all a fantastic find
The home is exactly as described. Parking was easy, close to the beach and pier. The property manager responded instantly and appropriately when we reached out. Our family would love to stay here again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay. Quiet neighborhood. It’s a short ride to the downtown Galveston area. The Host is very accommodating. We had a question about how to use the oven and he talked us on how to use it.
Our family of 4 + a small dog had a great stay at this place. The location is perfect - a very short walk to the Pleasure Pier. The check-in was super easy. The house was clean. Also, more than enough towels, very good WIFI, and a coffee machine.
We liked that we were able to park our car on the pavement at the back of the house. Also, the small backyard was a perfect place for our dog to walk outside.
We had a great time.
This rental is a block from the Seawall, an easy walk to Pleasure Pier. Dog friendly yard is fenced and well kept. House mostly remodeled a few areas could use some fixes but a great find for the price and location. AC runs cold and water is hot. A nice commercial grade gas stove in the kitchen for those who want to cook. We love Galveston and will look for this rental again.
House was in a great location. Short walk to the beach, Pleasure Pier and several great restaurants. Also, a short drive to the Strand. The house was nicely done inside and out, and had off street parking off the alley which was nice. There is a nice little deck in the backyard that was great in the evening to enjoy the gulf breezes.
There was some noise from the tennis courts and skateboard park across the street, but it wasn't bad. The bed in the main bedroom could use updating for comfort.
I would stay here again and would recommend it as a great place to stay on the island.
Great place for my family of 4 plus our dog. The only issues we had were the front door. It was tough to open because of the board located on the inside above the door frame. The board ended up coming loose. I let the property owner know & he responded very quickly. He was worried about our safety & brought us a key so we could use the back door.
This rental was cozy, private & walking distance to the beach.
We stayed here for the 4th of July. Wonderful location. We were close to all the action! Great fenced yard. The kitchen needs to be outfitted better with cooking utensils, knives, bowls. And the flatware was lacking knives. . I shared that with the host and am sure they will see to improving it. The furniture was comfortable. The cookware and gas stove were both great! The host was easy to communicate with and seemed genuinely concerned with our comfort ! I would recommend this house to anyone. (Not wheelchair accessible though)
The home was neat and clean and as expected for an older home. The owner was great to let us know ahead of time that the gate was messed up.
The location was great! We were close to every thing. The parking in back was easy to back our Tahoe in. We had ample room for the large golf cart we rented to park inside also.
The major drawback for us was the master bed! It was impossible to sleep on. The first night I gave it a try but didn’t get any rest. My husband and I spent the rest of our stay sleeping on the couches… 2 nights on couches isn’t ideal for a vacation.

Good location but not the house.
The house need a lots of repairs, fist the master don't have a bathroom, don't have outlets just on one side of the room so you can have all your things charges, the bed is way too small for.a master, there is not dinner table, the out side door was a hassle to open and closed omg and I ended paid for my chihuahuas so your don't get you deposit back because they have to clean carpets when they don't have any on the house. Do I like location but I wouldn't rent that house any more I didn't like the way the owner handle the things.
The location is great! It is within walking distance to Pleasure Pier, Murdoch's and the beach! Air conditioning works great as well. However, the house does have its quirks.
The light switch situation in the house is odd. For example, the living room fan will not work unless the kitchen light is on and the light switch plates are in weird places.
If you are planning on cooking at the house please know the kitchen is not well stocked- no bowls larger than a cereal bowl or measuring spoons. The house is stocked with pans but you are better off bringing your own.
One foot on the outside grill is completely rusted off, so my husband propped it up with a paver.
The bedroom doors squeaked VERY LOUDLY and we woke up everytime someone got up to go to the bathroom. The mattresses were loud as well (we are guessing the plastic was still on the box spring). If you like decent toilet paper, bring your own. The house TP is very thin.
Parking in the back is tight but manageable, even in a large vehicle.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

This house was the perfect location for our trip! 3 minute walk to the beach and Pleasure Pier! The house was clean, comfortable, we felt right at home!
